Yes, I think people are mostly focused on 2015-2016 in this discussion. I agree that if Smith can remain eligible and can get into a little better shape, we should be fine at center this year.

Not worried. Bradley Hayes will be a senior in 2015 and alot of people on the board seemed to love him over HAL. Also we will have Trey Mourning. It will be a bonus if we can snag Comanche or Rabb.
Worst case scenario you add a graduate transfer that can play immediately. (Although there was some talk about changing the rule so everyone had to sit out one year IIRC).

The beauty of our situation in comparison to the past years is that we have gotten 2 really good recruits to commit. In the past we have lost out on our big 5 recruits I believe because we lost out on our perimeter recruits early in the process. These kids want a chance to win and I believe that the bigs will look at Ike, PW, LJ, Noah, and MD and want to be apart of what's going on at GTown. If we were to get Trier to pop, one of Govan, Rabb, or Papp will also commit not long after..........IMO

talent begets talent. Top kids want to play with other top kids The amount of talent that has committed to GU in 2014 and 2015 is remarkable, and the 2015 class is still wide open. JT3 has 3 very effective assistants helping put him in a position to CLOSE on a number of great young ballers... and he is getting it done. Our Hoyas are on a roll and there is no reason to think it won't continue. After a very tough year this past season, things are looking UP!

Sounds like some of our fans have a case of PTRSD. Post Traumatic Recruiting Stress Disorder. I think what we have is a case of HTHDOFLGTBTWCMTTWTGGITWWBMUSD or "How The Hell Did Our Front Line Get This Bad That We Can't Make The Tourney With Two Great Guards I Thought We Were Big Man U Stress Disorder." And what is it that you suffer from that you came up with this non... LOL!

What I am especially excited about is how it seems our coaches have raised the bar in terms of quality of the recruits. We just want to make sure that we never get back to where we have to settle on a recruit because it's the last minute. If we can push our guys, get them quality playing time, that would also help. Success really does breathe success.

Hopefully with all this inside firepower it makes Reggie more effective so that he can be a factor in making us unguardable.
