he was, just didn't get it going. i think his knee was never the same. Does the knee have anything to do with not having a jumper or free throw stroke, not making lay ups or put-backs, getting in foul trouble quickly, not rebounding because of out of position or terrible hands? I wish him the best, but the knee thing is just looking to excuse what we saw on the court. Um, yeah, the knee would have a lot to do with getting in foul trouble quickly, being out of position, getting rebounds and just about everything in basketball. To set the record straight, Moses was neither unheralded nor a top recruit. He shot up the charts late and was subject to hype because there aren't a lot of spring signees. Those who like him called him a Top 100 recruit, but not everyone did. So he was ranked somewhere between a Mikael Hopkins/Markel Starks-level and probably someone like Jabril Trawick/Aaron Bowen (and soon, Tre Campbell). Whether it was injury or other, he did underperform at GU, but he was never the level of a recruit like Otto or something. I hope he does well where ever he goes.

Hoyas announce Aaron Bowen is coming back for a fifth season. First player since Darrel Owens to play after graduation.

I'm glad Aaron is coming back. He has improved steadily each season and his athletic ability is unmatched on the team. He can run the break, create turnovers, drive the baseline and get put backs. He doesn't need to dominate games to be a useful part of the roster. I think he can average between 8-10 pts and a couple of steals per game. He just needs to stop the occasional bad pass. Plus, in his sparse minutes he has created more highlight reel moments than any Hoya since Brandon "throw dribble" Bowman.

Figured he was coming back due to his body language after the the FSU game...
Aaron Bowen coming back probably means an increased role... Only makes sense for a 5th year... I know some posters did not want him back... But I view this as a big positive for the roster next year and chance to make the NCAA Tourney...

I dont mind him back but I do if it means taking time from the new players. I dont want Bowen to get more than 8-11 mins a game.

No. I'm not saying he would've been better, but the chance that he could've been better is more possible with a better knee. I didn't want him to return btw.

I thought JT elder said he was the best shot blocker he had ever seen (or something like that). Too bad we never saw that come to fruition.

As I've said put Bowen on next year's team, it'll be a complete 360 from this year. Looking at UConn, this team needs as many athletes and talent and guards as possible.

Napier, Daniels and Boatright have developed... Really impressed with Kevin Ollie... When the Huskies were getting boat raced...he made an in game adjustment and the Huskies never looked back.

That's tough. He was such a heralded recruit. Not really that heralded. Just a product of the HoyaTalk hype machine. Can't wait til the NCAA decides to make him sit out another game in mid-February just out of the blue. Don't forget, JT Jr. said he was the best shot blocker since Pat Ewing.

Still have at least one scholarship open. Happy to get Bowen back as I do not feel there is any potential recruit that could come in at this point and provide the same impact.

The funny thing is you think you know me.
