Man I wonder what happened that made every player want to leave at St Johns. It's like they collectively got together after the season and planned this. Well I'm sure thats what happened.

Might be worth a look, the kid is highly athletic with a big upside..

More on Sean Obi
A native of Nigeria, Obi averaged 11.4 points and 9.3 rebounds for the Rice Owls, who went just 7-23. He led Conference USA in rebounding last season and has three years of eligibility remaining.

I hadn't heard of him, but from the video it seems he's pretty athletic and has a college ready body.

Egbunu is pretty legit. I'd be OK with that. Of course, USF also has Jordan Omogbehin who Hoya nation was all in a tizzy about, but he has done zilch.

The Egbunu news is very encouraging. Very much the type of rim protector and rebounder many of us have been wanting. Not sure if he'd be interested in us but I'd be thrilled to land him, even with the redshirt year.

I'm with you on this RB, I've looked at a lot of info on the kid and imo the only 2015 bigs I'd put ahead of him would be Rabb because he's almost guaranteed to be a one and done player.. I think the consensus on kids like Comanche, Skal, Govan, Dickerson ect.. is that they'll need at least 2 years in college which will be at least the same amount of time Egbunu will be in school.. Egbunu will also have the advantage of learning to play with the current team members if he were to come.. A starting 5 of Egbunu, Copeland, White, Peak & DSR in 2015 would be lovely.. Hayes, Derrickson &Tre off the bench, What!!!! Sign me up now Here's a clip of him from earlier this year..

The kid was #64 on ESPN top-100 for 2013 and #7 C. Let Smith bang him up in practice this year.

Seems to have a good motor. Ran the floor well after those two blocks. It'd be nice to have a center that can keep up with our guards/wings when they wanna run. Clearly he can block shots too. I'd welcome him to the family for sure.
