New hope or dog and pony show? I'm going with the hope. I probably wouldn't waste an official on some place I had little interest, but then again, with kids, one never knows.

If he's taking his Georgetown official before his Arizona one then yes I think there's some hope. Based on the way Arizona fans were talking he was going to commit to them any day now, so the fact that he's taking visits is a positive sign especially if he visits us before them because if he visits there first he might pop, but if we get a chance to change his mind first, well you never know.

Sounds like he said even though coach hardy stopped talking to him for a while, they are talking now and smith likes him.

Ray Smith/6’7 Las Vegas High School (Nevada) 2015 Smith was fabulous from start to finish during his time on the east coast this past week as the Vegas native was tremendous at facilitating and playmaking off the bounce. A top-15 prospect who has all the potential and upside to reach his full potential down the road, Smith should continue to develop into quite the entertaining and productive wing at the college level and beyond. Shooting over 50% from the field and averaging over 12 points per game, Smith is great at creating for himself off the bounce and has a solid pull-up game within his arsenal, though he is at his best in scoring at the rim amidst contact. His frame does have some further filling out to do but he has the long, athletic body that he comprehends appropriately how to get by his man without much of a problem on the perimeter and the bounce to explode to the tin on highlight finishes. Smith’s jumper does have to work itself out from out top but his defensive versatility is a giant plus and the Sin City native plans on taking visits to UConn, Georgetown, Arizona, and Louisville over the next several weeks. hoopsintel.sportswar.com/2014/06/25/best-wings-at-the-nbpa-camp/

Tough competition for this one, but glad Hoyas are in the mix.

Have to think the injury made him decide right away w a possibility of losing his scholarship. Probably forced him to jump on UArizona before he could really visit other schools like Gtown.

Makes you wonder how bad his injury really was.
