Next Fall? Who is he kidding? What program is going to wait around for this long for one piece of the puzzle, no matter how important?

At this rate I would have to agree, but he just moved into the Top Target listing with Marcus Derrickson in 247 Sport. georgetown.247sports.com/Season/2015-Basketball/Targets

Does "top target" mean that he's one of our top targets or that we're one of his top targets? Given that some of our commits are listed as high choices, I'm guessing the latter (if they committed, we're probably their top target). I unsuccessfully searched the site for an answer. Also, I thought Trier was our top remaining target so maybe I'm just confusing myself. Thanks.

Next Fall? Who is he kidding? What program is going to wait around for this long for one piece of the puzzle, no matter how important? Means nothing. Every recruit we’ve landed up to this point said they would wait until the fall… None did

But with this latest info in regards to Rabb scheduling a visit, I'm clueless as to the direction we're heading at this point (Copeland, White, Mourning, Derrickson, Dickerson, Govan, and maybe Rabb). My mind has just been blown!!!!!!!

Steve Jones @stevejones_CJ 4h Las Vegas guard Ray Smith said he'll officially visit Louisville Sept. 27. Gtown UCLA in June, Zona visit TBD Ben Roberts @nextcats 4h Ray Smith has also set up official visits to Louisville, UCLA and Georgetown. He said Arizona would probably get one too. Ben Roberts @nextcats 4h 2015 wing Ray Smith named a top 10 recently but said that's not a "hard 10." Still time for UK to show more interest. Ben Roberts @nextcats 5h Dream Vision squad is loaded. Arizona commit Tyler Dorsey, UofL targets Chase Jeter and Ray Smith. All very impressive. Point Guard U @uofapointguardu 15h Check out our new players recruiting database. Here's Ray Smith @raysmith2297 player page pointguardu.com/player/?id=52 The badges are former CATS! Expand

Smart kid. I like how he was very tactful, didn't blunder, and gave each school kudos.

Next Fall? Who is he kidding? What program is going to wait around for this long for one piece of the puzzle, no matter how important? Really MG? Lots of kids won't commit or sign until the fall. Is it possible a kid might miss out on his #1 choice? Well, if he knows it's his #1, he can commit any time. If he doesn't, he should wait, do his research, trips, spend time with coaches, etc. A top 30,or top 75 or whatever, 6'7 Guard is going to have a ton of options in the fall. There is no need to rush things from his POV. In recent years, GU would have gladly taken a kid like that at the last minute. So I guess the answer to your query is - almost every program.

N.D. Kendrick @ndkendrick 1h I see you Ray Smith! Nasty one handed put back. Impressive today. Still nothing from Tyler Dorsey.

Question for the recruiting gurus... Can he be a guard and primary ball handler if needed? If he can, then he is my top choice for 2015.

To clarify, I think Ivan Rabb is top, top choice for 2015. After looking at the stats today, I probably think Trier is guard priority 1 with Ray Smith as 1a.

Paul Biancardi @paulbiancardi 17h Another @dreamvisionaau player I am impressed with is SF Ray Smith. Versatility is his calling card and he competes. Active and alert.
Josh Gershon @joshgershon 16h 2015 DreamVision SF Ray Smith is best in transition. Passing has really evolved over last year. Very good athlete with significant upside.
