The podcast for the women's soccer championship appears to be locked out here in Charleston (Directv) as well as the Saturday Hoya basketball game. What gives? Only BEDN broadcast are open to everyone. For regular FS1 programming you have to have a tv service that subscribes to FoxSportsGo. So unfortunately you're out of luck.

Another hit for the Johnnies. St. John's C Adonis DeLaRosa has been declared ineligible by the NCAA; apparently relates to SAT score issues.

"Third party report" on him sounds more like questions about validity - Derrick Rose type issues? Just a little more murkiness for the Redmen - oops - Storm.

It doesn't seem, from Rubin's article in the above link, that it is a slam-dunk that DeLaRosa's eligibility is beyond any question; if Lavin is reluctant to play him, it speaks volumes as to whether he is truly eligible at this time.

Adam Zagoria @adamzagoria 52s53 seconds ago For those keeping track, I'm now 2 for 2 on my picks for the day. Still got: Derrick Jones - UNLV Isaiah Briscoe - St. John's

Wow, with Briscoe choosing Kentucky (hate them the most out of any team in the country, BTW - fans so obnoxious on Twitter), St. John's is in big trouble next year.

Briscoe just gave a verbal commitment to Kentucky, not a signed letter of intent. I will not be surprised if, at the end of the spring, he winds up at UConn. As for St, John's now, though, it does not look good at all for Lavin. They only have nine scholarship athletes (ten if Adonis DeLaRosa is eligible), with five or six walk-ons. This could become a very very long season for the Johnnies, and I think we can expect a new face in Queens for the 2015-2016 season.
Question: Who survives longer, Lavin or Purnell?
