Love it! When all is said and done we will look back at this upcoming game as the deciding factor. I know I said I had conceded the point, but I am convinced this is the game. Furthermore, Metropolitan Atlanta is shut down so I have a few extra moments to shoot the breeze. Glidehoya certainly got a little bent out of shape, emotional, and defensive about the criticism of his blog. How dare that poster focus on the insignificant issue of grammar and lose sight of Glide's ideas?! Funny, how I haven't ever received any complaints or negative criticism about my blog I dedicate to my deceased son and the Hoyas (fans as well). This is something I do from my heart for my team and fans, that's all. I'm not looking for any personal gain or anything. I love my team. Sorry if you're thinking otherwise. If anything, I've received nothing but praise from the school and some of our fans at games here in D.C. or away, even from some other teams fans. There's very valuable information for those who know and don't know the game of basketball and our team. Look, Skyhoya used to be a cool dude. We rode up to NY to a game, we've talked lots of times. All of sudden this dude changes for the worst. I don't know what in the heck happen to him. It's like he's Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde! LOL ... Was my spelling correct this time Skyhoya. I don't think my spelling was ever an issue, I received A's in spelling all during school. I might have a few words out here and there, but that's it. I've errors in all writings. I can say this though. I AM NOT PERFECT! “If you're not making mistakes, then you're not doing anything. I'm positive that a doer makes mistakes.” - John Wooden

It's a HUGE game (to me). When the offseason rolls around, I want to still be able to lord this win over the Johnnies fan that I work with and will be seated next to at the game as I was able to do last year. Get em Hoyas! LMAO EVERY GAME IS A HUGE GAME!!! KEEP CALM, IT'S THE HOYAS! HAHAHA..

Count me as "not make or break game". IMO a record of 10-8 in the BE reg season, no matter how, gets us in.

The Red Storm(lol) is playing well, it will be a great atmosphere for a Saturday night game in the mecca. A win won't exactly garner national attention, but it would be a solid win, it would keep our streak going, which always gets a little extra attention, and it would keep us moving up the conference standings. Not necessarily a "must win", but pretty darned important. Game is Sunday night Yeah I knew that. Momentary memory freeze. With the holiday weekend I am thinking it will be a weekend night to the fans.

"We must beat St. Johns. But we must beat them because We Are Georgetown. And they are not." I don't even know what that means. I do. And while I agree this is a big game, all our games from here on out are "big games", because we have little room for error. I do not believe that the entire season turns on this one game, however. Let the board decide...?

You're a good dude. But, just like all of us, you get bent out of shape at times about inconsequential stuff. Unlike most of us, however, you go all message board hulk on us and start cussing and threatening people. Just don't do that.

The key to this game is going to be turnovers. They don't turn it over very much and they force a lot of them. I'm glad that we come into this game off 3 games where we took care of the ball extremely well. We're going to need to do it again because St. John's loves to run this year and get points off TOs (first in the BE in TO%). On the other hand, they're not a particularly adept half court team. They're also last in the conference in terms of giving up offensive rebounds. Take care of the ball (including not setting up smashes for Obekpa), crash the offensive glass, and play solid half court D and I think we come out on top. Luckily, we happen to be excelling in all 3 of these facets right now and I think the matchup suits our "small ball" lineup very well, so I like our chances. JTIII vs. Lavin is also a colossal mismatch.

Glide,
I, for one, enjoy your posts--especially during Kenner League. My point is that you can't take things personal when responding to folks on this board. Just keep in mind: "People who put others down don't feel good about themselves." Thanks for the insight into the reason and history of your blog. It helps explain your dedication. Keep up the great work, bro.
It was funny, though, because when I saw the arms outstretched to catch Bowen in the stands I actually said to myself, "That guy must be Glidehoya."

Pray tell me what you see as the path to 10-8. Have you sen the rest of the schedule? 10-8 is easy just beat St. John's. Seton Hall, Xavier and Marquette. We should win all 4 of those games. We are better than all 4 of those teams.

Let the board decide...? Ha! "Let the board decide..." may be the worst idea in the history of ideas! But you are right. They are ALL big games from here on out.

QUIT TRASHING ME ON THIS BOARD. You think that anyone who disagrees with you is a traitor to the program. You can’t take criticism without going to a rant for a couple of hours. You played the Jessie Jackson RACE CARD today, which is unforgivable for you to do that, just because I questioned your English. I realize that you have wrapped your life around the HOYAS, which is not a bad thing to do after you lost your son. The reason you sit behind the visitor’s bench with your free tickets, is because the paying customers complain about your language during the game. They did move you near me for a few games a couple of years ago and I was forced to call the office to get you moved. You might think you are the center of the Verizon universe. By the way, I am still kool, you just are such a big target to pick on.

Guys, Guys! Enough of this. I feel compelled to respond because I feel in some way responsible for stirring something that I was not aware off. Let's just move on and get back to the real issues--how the heck do we get out of New York with a w?
