Tough luck for Bradley and the team! He was having a great season!
There’s a saying in the college basketball world that teams play like the coaches that lead them. This will be true of Georgetown under Cooley’s staff as well. “Discipline is a staple. Toughness, energy, connection, and enthusiasm. Those things will also be staples of our organization,” he said.
If fouls become a problem against Bentil, who's third on the depth chart?
Marcus, who then should not start to watch his fouls.

Could've definitely used Bradley in the first half although Trey played an excellent game and I'm glad he has this opportunity for the foreseeable future.

Trey played a great offensive game. He was eaten alive on defense inside and on the boards. 'Zo must be shaking his head at the lack of fundamental boxing out.

He did have 5 boards plus he did a very nice job cutting off Dunn & Cartwright on PnR defense..
He has a learning curve to get over but he'll need consistent playing time to do that, I also think his play was definitely a positive today..
If his teammates recognized how open he was for 15ft baseline jumpers the offensive drought may not have lasted so long..
Brad, hope you are able to get back on court but, if not, you are a real Hoya and I admire you for sticking with Georgetown until you got your chance at playing time. You performed well and should be proud of your contributions on and off the court.
Bradley i saw your facebook post on those that dissed your teamates hearts .... well said. Feel bad for you who worked SO HARD> but for you the best is yet to come GO BRADLEY now guys lets win for the big guy who was MUCH MORE MEANIER THIS YEAR for sure.
go hoyas eat up and feast on the big east but win one by one by AT LEAST one and have some fun!!
Is there some way to claim that he was injured one of his first three years and could be redshirted, is that what you're implying? If he was redshirted, wouldn't we know that already? Why would he have gone through all the senior day stuff?

Aaron Bowen did senior day and then came back. All that being said, my understanding is that Hayes is not eligible for a medical redshirt, so I don't see this happening.
Hayes played in 9 games, just 14 total minutes his freshman year. Was he injured at all that season?
He played 1 minute total (in 3 games) after Jan. 30. his latest appearances were 2/20 and 3/9. It seems that he played games way too late in the season to qualify for a standard medical redshirt/waiver, but maybe there are some special exceptions that are sometimes made.
It certainly would be helpful to have Hayes back for one more year, given how much him improved this year, how much better we played with him on the floor this year, and the absence of a second true center for next season!

That would be incredible. He could really improve in the offseason and be a beast next year. Just a chance for him to go to grad school at GU. Win-win.
