My bad....he's 6'1". Got confused with some of the other prospects we are on. Nevertheless, we are long and athletic.

Does anybody know if Bacon is a re-class? I was on his DraftExpress page last night and if the info is correct he would be a 20yr old Freshman if he stayed in his current class. No biggie either way just curious... Good find. That is old for a freshman....I was only 17 the beginning of my freshman year.... And Bacon's girlfriend is a 2014 recruit, so it wouldn't necessarily be surprising if he reclassified....

First guess would be he couldn’t get eligible at Mckeel because of transfer rules but good question Hometown and I’m interested in the answer as well...

So what's the deal with him bouncing around? For those that know recruiting better than me, is this any kind of red flag?

Remember his girl friend will be on the hill as his personal tutor. Kid would fit the players recruited in the 2014 class. He and Peak seem to have same game.

Sometimes it's a red flag (*cough, Jordan Goodman), and sometimes it's just life happening. I trust the staff to do their diligence.

Sometimes it's a red flag (*cough, Jordan Goodman), and sometimes it's just life happening. I trust the staff to do their diligence. Yea, I assumed it's a case by case kind of thing. My immediate reaction was this probably isn't a good thing, but I honestly don't know nearly enough about HS hoops to form my own opinion on it.

honestly the highlight video shows that he is everything i want in a recruit for our program - exciting, explosive player with a lot of swag.
but i have serious concern for his demeanor. the fact that he is sorta "sporting around" how many scholarship offers he has (good for him but!) shows that he just wants to brag around.
the way he trash talks or looks down on a defender after making a play also reminds me of austin rivers in high school.
now he is transferring around schools - i don't know the full story behind it, but that's also another "meh" to speculate further.
him and howard are the type of players that i would love to have in terms of skills, but absolutely do not want in terms of the showing of personality.

Anyone understand his response to the GTown question? "That's school for school"? I might need an old person translation.
"BECB: Nice, Georgetown is a team that is really is targeting you hard. What is something that you like about the school basketball wise?
Bacon: I mean thats school for school. They run lots of plays and can play defense."

Bacon: I mean thats school for school. They run lots of plays and can play defense." Clearly, it WAS a typo. What he actually said was: I mean, that school is cool! They run a lot of plays and can play defense!

"It is a university that places great emphasis on academic advancement of its scholar-athletes, and requires the utmost commitment, not only on the basketball court, but in the classroom."
