Chance reminds me a lot of Rodney O' Miller (2016). Mom handling much of his recruitment and seems like a well groomed young man proper for Georgetown. Would love to see if we can somehow get to his mom's good side... any twitter users out there i heard the same thing about devonta pollard back in the day So you're saying if Momma Comanche steers her son to a different school, we can reasonably assume she has already or will soon commit kidnapping?

So considering his shot blocking ability, I assume we will call him "No Chance" Comanche, right?

Chance Comanche (2015)
Comanche showed a few flashes of why he is ranked the No. 12 prospect in the nation in the latest Rivals150. The 6-foot-10 center has a ton of athleticism and can get up and down the floor better than most his size. He showed off his jumper early, hitting a couple of fancy step backs, including a three. He later awed the crowd with some big time dunks and blocks. While raw, Comanche shows that he has all the makings of a big time player.
While he says Arizona is recruiting him harder than anyone right now, Comanche says he has had contact with Colorado.
"I've heard from them," he said. "I've looked at the school online, it seems like a good school."
As for his trip to Colorado, the southern California prospect may have needed a better jacket.
"It's nice out here, it's just real cold," he said.
At this point Colorado seems like a long-shot, at best, for his signature.

Must have visited one of the few weeks its actually cold in the front range of the Rockies. Today its a balmy 70 and he'll be inside a gym for most of the cold month. While I wouldn't mind seeing him play for the Buffs I'd much more enjoy him in a Hoya uniform.

Yeah, people from CA just assume Colorado is frigid all winter but those of us who live here know it's not true. In fact, i remember feeling colder in DC winters than CO. As for Chance, maybe it narrows the list for us...

Big men make their presence felt
A quartet of high-major caliber nationally ranked post prospects headlined the camp. From the class of 2015, View Park (CA) center Chance Comanche and Grand Rapids (MN) power forward Alex Illikainen are both presently ranked among our top-60 prospects from the junior class. Based on their performance on Sunday, it’s fair to say that both deserve to move up when the rankings are updated.
Comanche played well all day, and excelled in the top-20 all-star game. He recently picked up a scholarship offer from the UCLA Bruins, and demonstrated an impressive skill game. At 6′-11,” he has impressive length, and showed the ability to finish through contact. For an interior player, he passes well and has a burgeoning array of post moves. Comanche had the occasional play that “wowed” observers

He is the piece. That simple to me. Yup, completely agree. Think he would fit in great with the recruits we have coming in and in our style of play. Can run. Can hit the jumper from the high post. Can convert in the post. Good finisher and protects the rim on defense. Kinda reminds me of Zo a little.

If other gurus want to weigh in, that'd be appreciated too.

Rabb is a one and done. Comanche is a two, three year kid. Rabb is the better player at this point, but Comanche may be the better long term play for us. I'm not sure we get either one though.

The kid has blown up. We are recruiting him hard, but so is everyone else.

Blueandgray you seem to have inside knowledge. Do you know his timeline for narrowing schools and visits planned? Also what is his comfort level with moving east and how much are we putting into getting him. To me he is the prospect we should be camped outside his house, practice and calling him as much as legally possible. He would be make us a top 5 team with the pieces we have now.
