Things heating up. Georgetown is in the mix. Heat from staff or from player? The interest is mutual....but its still relatively early in the process. I had a chance to watch him play a few times and can tell you that with the right coaching and in the right system, he has a lot of potential. He's got a very good understanding of the game, has range out to 15 feet, has great touch around the basket and good hands. He's a legit 6'10" plus, has a solid frame, but needs to add a good 20 lbs of muscle. He just turned 17. Arizona has offered as have several other Pac 10 teams. NC State has offered and he seems to like the ACC. He's definitely intrigued by the Hoyas and has a good understanding for why we are known as BIG Man U. Like every kid, he's looking to play immediately ....not sure he would get that at Arizona with the way they are recruiting and am pretty sure that's what NC State is offering him. He projects as a 4/5 for the Hoyas and my thinking is that he would see a good amount of time as a freshman. Let's see how this plays out.

I like the kids game he looks comfortable all over the court.. if it's time he wants there will be PLENTY of time at the 5 spot in '15, plenty of time.. With his length & mobility he looks to be a good fit with the 2014 class as well..

Looks similar to a Nick Batum type kid.

Chance Comanche had somewhat of a coming out party at the NBPA Top 100 Camp earlier in the summer, and his performance carried over to the rest of the summer. The Californian plays with an encouraging confidence level and his post feel and skill appear to be coming along nicely. www.dunkdog.com/new-names-in-top-heavy-2015-center-group/

Expect the Hoyas to pay another visit to chance in the next few days. Interest is mutual.

Kid certainly seems to have potential. For those who have seen him play, how is he with rebounding and shot blocking? How are his instincts? I think that's what we need from our 5 more than anything. But believe me, I'm all for bringing this kid in. Keep the early signings for '15 coming. If the interest really is mutual, go lock him up.

Good rebounder and shot blocker...needs to get stronger though...only weighs 200 lbs. Offensively, he's smooth. Has great touch, can finish, has range to 15', is a good passer, is 80% from the line. He's a 3 or 4 year kid and would contribute as a freshman or sophomore more than any other Hoya center in the jt3 era outside of Greg Monroe.

Sounds like a good fit. Sign him up.

Isn't every kid working to be #1? How realistic is it that he could be a top overall player? Lots of depth in that class in the front court.
