we've already got a 5/C project in Hayes and Moses. I think Hayes and Domingo bounce after the season; giving us two ships for next year. This allows us to add another 5 to one we're already recruiting, as well as, another pg that's so desperately needed.

I think the program has to keep going after "project" bigs just like many other programs do because the great majority of HS bigs are projects regardless of how highly they're ranked. Look back at all the supposed game changers the staff was recruiting.. Remember Dashonte Riley? How about Rakeem Christmas or Robert Upshaw? Ochefu has potential but even he has a ways to go.. Dakari Johnson looks like he needs time to develop. All the teams that were on Elbert's final list landed a post player except for G'town who needed a big in this class the most. GTech landed 3 star Ben Lammers, Ohio State landed 3 star David Bell and Nebraska landed 3 star Jacob Hammond. All these players are listed @ 6-10 220+ as well L'ville landed Onuaku but that didn't stop them from getting 2014 7-1 Max Stockman from Norway and offering another 6-10 foreign kid named Michael Cervosky too.. I don't get why the staff stopped recruiting for 2014..

I'd take a project if he's gonna get run....Hayes doesn't play. Domingo barely. It's obvious III doesn't have confidence in them. All of the bigs you mentioned were ranked and play; Christmas and Ochefu start. I actually am rooting for Hayes and wish he'd get more run, but from what I hear he's not good.

@paulbiancardi how will White and Copeland play together at Georgetown? will Copeland play 3 and White 4? #AskCoachB 9:51 AM - 12 Dec 2013
Playing for John Thompson III at Georgetown, both Isaac Copeland (Raleigh, N.C./Brewster Academy) and Paul White (Chicago/Whitney Young) will fit nicely together.
Copeland is more of a skilled, stretch four man with terrific mobility and length. He can stroke the 3 and score close to the rim. Meanwhile, if you watched White's performance Thursday on ESPN2 against Apple Valley, you could easily see the array of skills he brings to the game. The ability to score shoot, pass, rebound and handle the ball allows him to play small forward or power forward.
Both bring excellent positional size, length, and versatility to the court. Each still has plenty of upside to tap into as they mature, and they need to learn how to utilize their athletic frames to play defense. They both could influence the game on defense if they get serious in their approach.
They will easily be able to coexist on the floor as interchangeable parts to the Georgetown system, which is heavily based on skill, finesse and exploring mismatches on the floor.

basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1589915It was a good day for Georgetown fans. Signee Isaac Copeland recorded 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists in a blowout win over Oldsmar Christian. Paul VI's Marcus Derrickson will be a member of the Hoyas' 2015 class and was terrific against Wheeler. He showed three-point range on his jumper and can use his big body to score inside. In the final game of the night, signee Paul White looked the part of a quality Big East player. His versatility in the front-court, like Derrickson, will fit well in John Thompson III's system.

I am curious if there is a list somewhere of potential 5th year seniors who are on schedule to graduate and could transfer anywhere and play immediately. Seems to be a new emphasis for some schools. Oregon definitely has benefitted. DJ Haley did that. Left VCU for USC after graduating VCU with a degree in engineering.

I personally think Louisville is ranked way too high (should be 7), and us and Arizona could be flipped.

I love G'town's class and wouldn't trade it for anyone's but Arizona should be ranked higher at least on paper.. Johnson is a beast, Jackson-Cartwright & Victor are top 40 kids and Rustic is a 4 star according to Scout & ESPN..

That polka-dot shirt though, classy.
What is the order in this photo? L to R: Copeland, Mourning, Peak, Campbell, White? (Thanks to MCI, first two are Mourning, Copeland)
