OHF unless I’m reading this wrong I wouldn’t think that at all if i were a Duke fan. The article was by a Duke reporter and she talked more about Roy Williams, no mention of Coach K…
Looks like AZ Cal Unc Gtown right now

Reads to me like Duke isn't that high but she seems to catch herself knowing it is a DBD site, and she is complimentary of UNC. Really need to get them on campus.

Totally agree, prhoya. If we were to land this guy, it would be huge.

It will be JTIII's fault if he ends up at USC. Damn flavor of the month.

He's the #1 ranked player in his class with offers from everywhere and it'll be JT3's fault if he goes to USC?? Will it also be Sean Miller and Roy Williams's fault?

Neither Sean Miller nor Roy Williams gave the USC coach his career defining moment that lead to his hiring [Also, please note Hoyarooter is also a UCLA fan and so really doesn't want USC to succeed]

I think he was referring to the fact that Enfield is a good recruiter, who would not be at USC if Gulf Coast didn't kick our butts - gallows humor, if you will.

A recruiting expert over on Rivals ( Eric Bossi )posted this on a thread I started about Rabb:
Word on the street for the past couple of months has been that Rabb's mother likes Georgetown the best of any school recruiting her son. Obviously, Arizona is getting plenty of run and they should. The other program I've heard the most is USC.
If it's not cool to post this feel free to strike it down.

I know it's a long shot, but my head just hurts thinking about him joining the rest of the talent coming in, and that could still theoretically be here (DSR).

Always tough with this kind of thing. I feel like it's getting commonplace for the mom to like us for practical reasons -- good environment, good academics, JT3 has integrity -- and the recruits want to go to the bright lights of UK or elsewhere. Not saying this applies to Rabb, but generally speaking, Gtown is a great school to have in your mix to make it seem like your recruitment is on the up and up and you have your priorities in order before going elsewhere.
I'm curious to see whether this dynamic changes at all with the new facilities and the studs we have coming in next year. The mom thing will keep us in until the end which bodes well. The more he learns about Gtown's record with bigs -- like the Hibbert article that just came out -- and the new league taking shape the better chance we have. One of these days I do think we're gonna land a whale like Rabb who seems like a great kid. Still expect him to go to Zona but who knows. If not him, I do believe we're gonna land a top 50 center in the '15 class though.
Somebody has to see the great situation they'd be coming into. And unlike the usual timeline where guys who want to come to GU commit early, I think guys pushing out their recruitments next year might not be a bad thing because they'll be able to see our freshman class impress, go to a sell-out/great atmosphere game versus Kansas and see shovels in the ground for the facility.
