Seems like his list will be delayed as he has set up an in-home with unc for Wednesday.

Seems like his list will be delayed as he has set up an in-home with unc for Wednesday. Sounds like UNC got a call, and then they begged him to reconsider?

what player commit in the past would compare, in terms of impact and shock at landing him? I can't really think of one. Patrick Ewing.

Read over on the Rivals site that he has set a visit to Kansas for the first weekend of November. He's said before that Arizona, Cal and Kentucky will all be finalists. With 4 spots seemingly taken... seems like we're hanging by a very slim thread. Guessing we may find out one way or another tonight.

Arizona, Cal, UCLA, Kentucky & Kansas. Final 5 Not surprised... So he basically has three west coast schools, and two midwestern powerhouses. It's disappointing, but I feel like we had lost steam with him for quite a while. That said, it's hard to complain given these 5 schools. If there was another eastern power on the list, I'd be more concerned.

I'll be OK if he goes to Cal; however, if Arizona grabs him.....

Just hard to think we went from a "lock" to be in his final 3 right to the end, to not even making it into the last 5. But yeah, we have Jessie coming, and a couple of other options. Hopefully we can close one of them better than we did with Rabb.

Hopefully we can close one of them better than we did with Rabb. At one point, everyone on the inside was confident on where we stood with him. That obviously changed and things cooled off. I apologize for dragging the board through this. Going forward will play more the role of spectator than insider.

We may very well have been in a good spot then with Rabb. But those other schools have certain advantages that we just can't compete with.

From someone whose sole knowledge is this Board....I'm guessing adding Tacko and Robinson is the best we can hope for at this point. We seem to be whiffing on the higher profile guys, of which Dozier is one. Plus he is a point guard...that dreaded position that noone great, wants to play for the Hoyas.
