Those were 3 solid wins last night. Have to say, Marquette's embarrassment notwithstanding, the BE has held it's own for the most part this season.

Meanwhile, over in the ACC, NC State lost at home to NC Central and Georgia Tech lost at home to Dayton.

Hi, NC State! Meet my friends pot and kettle.
The only games of interest for the Hoyas this year should be their own.

Hi, NC State! Meet my friends pot and kettle. The only games of interest for the Hoyas this year should be their own. Losing to a CAA team at a neutral court site is nowhere near as bad as losing to a MEAC team at home. Also, I'm pretty sure that whether or not the Georgetown fan base pays attention to the rest of the college basketball landscape has exactly zero effect on how the Hoyas perform on the court.

Seton Hall beats Virginia Tech in Brooklyn, and Providence had a real nice comeback win over Vanderbilt last night. So that's nice too.

UNC loses to Belmont then beats Louisville. Somehow that makes me feel better about our Northeastern loss.

The schadenfreude is strong with this one. The Twerps also lost to Duke in the national field hockey semifinals on Friday, despite being the national #1 seed. Joy a little hard to come by these days in Kevin Anderson's house.

Aside from the obvious, the reason I pay attention to GOI is because it helps show that playing one half of bad basketball against NE on a neutral court in November is just that: one half of bad basketball. Charlotte beat Michigan on a neutral floor. Duke gave up 90 points to freakin Vermont at HOME. They should have lost. Maybe losing 1 game in November doesnt require blowing up the whole coaching staff. Just sayin'
