Nice little Globetrotters move there! And good call Etomic, he does look much more mobile and agile than in his older videos. Which is probably normal for young kids who grow so fast to take some time for their coordination to catch up. Exactly and only going to get better as he gets stronger and grows into his body more… Kid gets great coaching and instruction year round also playing with OHA and NY Lightning

Vantage Hoops @vantagehoops Oct 28 Wake Forest and #UVA are at the Hargrave vs. Oak Hill game tonight per @coach_Rick57. 2016 Rodney Miller one of the targets #VaHoops

Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 17h17 hours ago 2016 Oak Hill center Rodney Miller is going to blow up this spring. Feet have vastly improved on hard hedge and defending away from the rim
Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 16h16 hours ago Love the defensive value of Rodney Miller. Disciplined rim protector acting as brick wall between man and bucket. A lot of worth at Hm level
James Blackburn @jamesjunior21 17h17 hours ago Lewisville, NC Love the length and athleticism of Rodney Miller for Oak Hill #PhenomShowcase
Brian Flinn @bflinnhoops 17h17 hours ago Rodney Miller just hit a fading baseline jumper while getting fouled. The 2016 C has gotten so much better since arriving at Oak Hill.
Corey Pegram @coreypegram 17h17 hours ago Danny Manning, Randolph Childress, and Brett Ballard of Wake Forest all here for Oak Hill 2016 6'11 Rodney Miller #PhenomShowcase
Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 16h16 hours ago Bit difficult to matchup with frontline of Oak Hill of Dwayne Bacon, Khadim Sy, Dan Giddens, Rodney Miller. Impossible to score in the paint
Corey Pegram @coreypegram 16h16 hours ago Really think 2016 Rodney Miller is improving. Adding toughness, improving feet, taking game seriously. #PhenomShowcase
Justin Easter @easter1129 16h16 hours ago 2015 SG Dwayne Bacon & 2016 C Rodney Miller really stood out to me
#PhenomShowcase
Rick Lewis @coach_Rick57 16h16 hours ago Oak Hill scoring: Dwayne Bacon 28 Andrew Fleming 15 Khadim Sy 14 Rodney Miller 11 Joe Reaves 8 #PhenomShowcase

I don't really understand what we are doing here. He and his mother are very receptive to the Hoyas so I would think we would put the full court press on to lock him up. Yet I haven't heard much about us on him for awhile now. Maybe things are going on behind the scenes we just don't know about. But I'd love to hear some update on our efforts.

You just won’t find much about his recruitment period. His fam doesn’t discuss it from what I understand. Schools I’ve heard linked to him other than Gtown are Wake, VA, UCLA and Nati. He played with Jessie in EYBL so I’m sure the staff saw a lot of him in the summer fwiw.

No offer from us… Maria said the following schools have expressed “serious interest”: Georgia Tech, Kansas, Florida, Duke, Indiana, Purdue, Wake Forest, Miami, Virginia, Tennessee, Tulsa and Stanford. A captain at Oak Hill, Miller is a native of Laurelton, N.Y., which is in Queens. His father, Rodney Sr., said his son has a 4.0 GPA. zagsblog.com/articles/uconn-latest-to-offer-rodney-miller-ucla-cal-watch-rabbs-double-double/

I thought Sutton was close to the family? Can you think of a reason why we haven't offered? It's pretty obvious he's a high major prospect with a lot of upside, so I'm not sure there's a reason to wait and see with him. Some programs can wait until a player blows up, then swoop in and be successful (like Kentucky, Duke, etc.). However, I don't think we have that ability at this point. I think our niche is to identify undervalued recruits and try to nab them before they blow up. That's how we got our great 2014 class. Copeland, White, and Peak were top 100 recruits to begin with but we got them committed well before their senior season when they blew up and shot up the rankings. IMO, Miller and Jackson are two recruits who have the potential to really blow up as the year goes on and I'd love for us to really push hard for them now. But then again, maybe it's happening and we just don't know about it....hopefully...

Yes, or there is a reason why the Hoyas are not making that push- who knows.

Top performers for Oak Hill were Florida State commit, 6-6 WF Dwayne Bacon, who scored 27 points, and is a definite candiate for the McDonald’s All-American game. Other Oak Hill standouts included Ohio State recruit, 6-10 C/F Daniel Giddens with 18 points, 10 rebounds; Iowa bound sharpshooter, 6-5 2G Andrew Fleming, a hardnosed competitor and defender, who scored 15 points; still available playmaking point guard, 5-11 Terrence Phillips, the younger brother of NBA player Brandon Jennings, who led the Warriors with 8 assists. Underclassmen who impressed for Oak Hill were 2016 C/F 6-9 Khadim Sy with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 blocks; Penn State commit, 2016 6-7, 275 lbs., W/PF Joe Hampton, 15 pts., 7 rebounds; towering 2016 7-0 C Rodney Miller, 7 pts., 6 rebounds, 3 blocks; and multi-talented 2017 6-1 PG Lindell Wigginton, 7 pts., 3 assists. Khadim Sy is now getting looks from Virginia, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and others. Young giant, Rodney Miller had Kentucky, Virginia, Wake Forest, and Georgetown in the gym. bobgibbonsallstarsports.com/
