scouthoops.scout.com/2/1390771.htmlStone isn’t playing. Glynn Watson, Roosevelt Smart, Evan Boudreaux, and Ellenson have all been mentioned in the past with the Hoyas. Where: Mequon, Wisconsin When: April 4-6 Reporting Staff: Brian Snow Top Teams: Illinois Wolves, Meanstreets, Mac Irvin Fire, All-Ohio Red, Playground Elite, Wisconsin Playground Warriors, REACH Legends, Illinois Stars, Milwaukee Young Legends, St. Louis Eagles, Team NLP, SYF Players, Wisconsin Blizzard Top Players: Charles Matthews, Glynn Watson, Jalen Brunson, Esa Ahmad, D.J. Williams, Jayson Tatum, Diamond Stone, Nick Noskowiak, Aaron Jordan, Zachary Norvell, Cody Schwartz, Evan Boudreaux, Davon Dillard, Henry Ellenson, Roosevelt Smart Looking Forward To: This is the first big Midwest AAU event of the year, and as always features some of the most talented players in the country. All of the top prospects from the state of Illinois will be on the big stage, with many going against each other. That is impressive enough, but there is a lot more to look forward to.

Michal Cekovsky, 7-0, C/PF, Canarias Basketball Academy (Spain), 2014 Cekovsky was undoubtedly the hottest name of the Showcase. A skilled 7-footer, Cekovsky came over without a scholarship offer and left with the likes of Arizona and Louisville leaving offers on the table. He is a great passer from the high post, can shoot the ball out to the three-point line, and is incredibly fluid in the post. One mid-major college coach compared him to Dirk Nowitzki and while that’s a bit far fetched at this point, you could certainly see some similarities as far as style of play. Michal inked with Adriatic power Partizan early in his career, but has opted to go the college route before playing a pro game. Staff might wanna give the kid a look, looks a little shy around contact in the video but can shoot it out to 3. Average a very solid 13 and 10 for the Spain U20 team... Off the board to Maryland ... MARYLAND?!?!?! They're bringing in Trayvon Reed and Cekovsky in the same class and we're still wondering if the staff is pursuing Adonis De La Rosa ... smdh.

Glad we are staying on all types of prospects for 2015 but unless Peak or Copeland are one and done, not sure if we will have room.

That black team he was playing against in the video is the sorriest collection of AAU players I have ever seen.

Larry Austin would be a very interesting guy, although I doubt the Hoyas go after him as he'd compete with Tre, and it seems like they promised Tre that he'd be the guy at his position in the class of 2014. But Austin's a well-regarded player, pure scorer, very quick, not a true PG even though he has PG size. Plays a lot like Chris Wright. The Georgetown offense would be a very good fit for Austin.

A trio of young bigs the staff will hopefully start tracking this summer…. ] Isaiah Whaley 6’9 20166’9 Sophomore Isaiah Whaley (Pictured Above) Ashbrook (Gastonia) Pretty much unknown coming into the Top 80, Whaley leaves as a name to know. Whaley averaged 13.7 points 9.5 boards and 4.5 blocks per game for his Ashbrook High School team this year to earn his invite. After injuring his ankle early in the opening game, Whaley went on to play the final two. In those two game he teased us with what could be. Whaley, who has great length, finished the two games 4-6 from 3. His skill is raw, but his upside is vast. Whaley averaged 10 points 3 boards and a block on Gastonia? Somebody call Sleepy!
