Take it for what it's worth ... CourtCred @courtcred Sources tell me Christ the King's Adonis De La Rosa will commit to Georgetown in the Spring... Interesting...

I can tell you that JTIII probably really loves his passing ability. If he's shed the pounds his coach says he has, then much, much better.

I was down on the kid but I have to admit he looked pretty good in the Monteverde game that was on TV. He's lost a good amount of weight & got up & down the court pretty well and rebounded his area very well.. The team needs a big in this class so If true I'm happy.. If this is true we know for sure someone isn't coming back and puts to rest the rumors of Dickerson joining the 2014 class..

I think he is for a big man. He makes the kinds of passes that JTIII would like from his bigs.... Just my opinion though.

Hope to see him sporting a G lid at MSG today.
He got ejected for a hard foul in last nights game, which is encouraging:-)
This unverifiable news should send half the board into nirvana and half into palpitations.

He looks nothing like that kid from the 2012 videos anymore.

Just a local name to keep in mind, but I've been hearing all season that Largo F Abdulai Bundu has been terrorizing P.G. 3A/2A/1A basketball. Depending on who you believe, he's between 6'6"-6'8" and if he's closer to 6'8" than 6'6", he's projecting as a high-major recruit.
Although I live five minutes from Largo - which is where Don Reid came from - I've never seen him in person, but from people I trust, they're saying he could be real good in a couple of years.
Video from his game last night against Potomac
Earlier this season against Central (#34 in Blue)

Yaboy, did you see the tweet from 247 saying that Hardy was in Vegas looking in on Ray Smith a 6-7 SF who's listed at #36 on the list? Yeah I saw it yesterday, forgot to post it.. haha This kid is lanky as hell… The kid with the red t-shirt @inrecruit: Georgetown has offered 6'8 class of 2015 shooting guard Ray Smith from Las Vegas.

Well it certainly looks like the staff is doing what we all want them to do and preparing for possible early departures. Tough to tell much from those videos other than the kid can, in fact, dunk. Any HS game footage out there?

Drew Messmer @allmetrodrew Jan 20 2016 PG Anthony Cowan (@__AntC) St Johns College - has received interest from Florida St, UVA, WVU, VT, Cincinnati, Penn St, Gtown & Rutgers With the chance of added exposure, he's also hoping to catch the eyes of a couple of schools down south. “I definitely like the University of Miami and the University of Florida – those schools down there. Those are the main schools I’m looking forward to [hearing from]. I love all types of schools but I just like the warmer climate, the warmer weather that those schools have to offer. I’d love to go to school in Miami. I love the campus, the weather and everything about it.” For now though, the hometown school remains close to his heart. He's attended multiple games and afterwards, visited the lockerroom to talk to the players and coaches. The proximity of College Park has helped make it feel like home. ______ Don’t think the Hoyas are showing serious interest at this time...

MUHS (my high school) and Dominican (in my old home town) are rivals in the same conference.

A new name on the scene is class of 2016 shooting guard De'monte Buckingham. A powerful and athletic 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Henrico (Va.) High, Buckingham was tough to stop going to the rim. He is a transition finisher, rebounds extremely well and showed promise as a jump shooter. How consistent he can be with the jumper will be an important part of his game down the road but high majors are taking notice. Buckingham said that his most recent offer came from Maryland and that he's also got offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Radford, Richmond, ODU, and VCU. He almost mentioned that North Carolina, Xavier, Villanova and Cincinnati have shown interest.
Gtown needs to get in on this kid, he can play

insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncbrecruitingon-the-trail/post/_/id/9402/metro-challenge-recapTaron Oliver is a 250-pound center who has a soft touch that extends away from the basket, dexterity in the post and some deceptively quick feet for a guy his size, all of which make him a load to handle when operating on the block or mid-post.
Sylvester Ogbonda was as pleasant a surprise as there was up front. The 6-foot-10 big man not only blocked and changed a variety of shots around the rim, he also showed an expanding offensive arsenal both in the post and stepping out to 16 feet. There have been reports that G'town has reached out in the past to both of these kids.. I'm especially interested in Ogbonda if he's extended his range to 15 feet..
