247sports.com/Article/Hoop-Exchange-Florida-Fall-Festival-Standouts-32040012Jahshire Hardnett: A 5'11" 2015 power guard, Hardnett has the physique of a young Jameer Nelson. Teamed in the backcourt with Lamonte Turner, he looked to score at this event more than necessarily create for teammates. At the next level, he will need to continue to develop his three-point shot, tighten his physique, and become more of a distributor. Still, there is room for compact lead guards who have a nose for scoring. After winning a state title in Mississippi, Hardnett came to ACD to improve his individual game and get more national exposure. He visited UTEP last month and is scheduled to take an official visit to Murray State this coming weekend. He said that he has been offered by Maryland, Georgetown, and Wisconsin since arriving at ACD. He is looking to set up official visits to Georgetown and Wisconsin.

DSR has a younger brother who plays for Indy Spiece 15u fwiw… Mateo Rivera Jr Floated Varsity and JV last year at North Central. Never seen him play, just putting it out there Two teams made their debuts in the 15U Top Ten Rankings this week, FH Elite 2017 and Indiana Elite Central. Indiana Elite Central is led by Mateo Rivera, the brother of Georgetown guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera. Mateo can do everything from the lead guard spot and is one of the best in his class overall.

Hope they really are close. If some DSR can rub off on his brother, we need this kid ASAP. Especially if he's ready to be a lead guard. Any looks on size? Compared to DSR looks like he's around 6ft.

Compared to DSR he looks eleventeen. Yeah but DSR is a MAN. 2017 means the kid was probably born in '99. He's the same age as Family Guy. So he is 6 ft and played some Varsity as a Freshman: www.maxpreps.com/athlete/mateo-rivera/-tBsIWctEeOzMAAmVebBJg/gendersport/basketball-stats.htm

That seems wildly off base. jaren was at reunion last year not harboring any obvious negative feelings. Coaching here didn't take, but that is no reason to infer that he doesn't respect the program.

From some people's comments I'd been led to believe that he held a grudge, but that might have been misinformed as you said. I'd be much happier if your version is correct and he's still good with the Gtown community

Fwiw it’s worth regarding JJr I’ve never heard the Hoyas mentioned, he’s a Sophomore so plenty of time. If he would be open to the idea, might as well get on it because he’s going to have a ton of options. Think he already has a Purdue offer...

Do these recruits get to keep clothing given to them at these events? I'm guessing they don't count as violations/benefits.

Do these recruits get to keep clothing given to them at these events? I'm guessing they don't count as violations/benefits. 1) Recruits at all schools likely get swag that might technically be deemed as illegal benefits. 2) That Shirt is the shirt they gave everyone who entered McDonough last night so it would not be a violation because it's something everyone can and did get.
