Alani Moore 5’9 | Undecided | Montrose Christian | Moore’s full range of skills were put on display at the elite 80. Crossovers, pull up jumpers, dimes, and athleticism. From the outset he appeared to be set on separating himself from his peers and undoubtedly did that while receiving MVP honors as a result. The former Dematha guard will takeover the point for powerhouse Montrose Christian and chase a national title. I wouldn’t be surprised, if like Bracey, Moore’s list of offers expands. www.hardwoodinsiders.com/2014/09/dmv-elite-80/

More from the DMV Elite event this weekend [amir Moultrie 6’0 | Undecided | Bishop McNamara | The floor general has played consistently over the summer. He is never in a rush to score, but can score when he decides to. His mid range game is underrated and he can be a pure point guard if asked to be. Moultrie plays within the flow of the game and had some break out games at the Elite80. www.hardwoodinsiders.com/2014/09/dmv-elite-80/

Looks like some decent DC players coming down the pipeline, haven't heard of Henry Wise before...is that a PG public? Any chance you could add positions? Can infer from most of the write-ups but it helps! Thanks yaboy for the info as always!!

No recruits visiting this weekend, right? Anyone have any info on where JT III is heading before or after seeing Rabb? Good question. It seems the staff is mainly focusing on five guys for 2015 (Rabb, Skal, Dozier, Crawford, Fall), but haven't heard anything about any others. I'm curious what the backup plan is if we miss on all five of our top remaining targets for 2015.

Number of uncommitted PG/SG in 247 Top 100 for 2015 = 13. Number mentioning GU = 1 (Perry Dozier).

If we miss on the Dozier, JT3 will find Suhm Randihm Dood.
The Dood's talent is sometimes better than the Dozier. To wit, Whit, Otto, and Jon.
Be patient and trust the stahff.

Disappointing, but still hope with Dozier, and whatever Plan B is. Probably a little bit of all three options. On the one hand, I really liked the staff going to head to head with the big boys for elite talent. On the other hand, in hindsight maybe we should have worked a little harder on some recruits in the 50-150 range because there is a very good chance we miss out on all our top targets. I wonder what happened with Reaves; I have to assume if we had pushed hard he would have picked us over Penn State. Reaves went to a lot of our games, and seemed to be a big fan of the program. Oh well, it's recruiting so who knows what happened. That being said, it's much better to be looking for guards than looking for bigs late in the recruiting season.

From 247 Sports, it lists Hardnett as a 5'10" PG with apparently mostly mid-major interest. Not sure how up-to-date the information is though. Hopefully, he's grown a few inches since then....
