Is there a site for XC that is similar to the dozens of basketball sites where I can look up a promising HS athlete and see where they have committed to or where they are believed to have had offers? I am mainly wondering where the kid at my daughters school who won the league meet for the boys is thinking of going - William Frankenfeld, he came in first at CIF recently.
Next year when i go to my daughter's meets it would be fun to know that runner x or y was a possible future hoya so i hope there is a site that tracks that.

BTW Matt Strangio, who won the 3200m at the state meet as a soph, just won the Div 1 XC champs and his time was 3rd in the state over all divisions. Liam Anderson, who had been a Hoya recruit, but opted to Stanford, had the fastest time. Matt's mom had been the XC coach at Sutter Middle School, before I and a few other people took over the XC coaching duties for this year.

The Albany paper had a big story on the front page of the sports section that Shea Weilbaker signed his LOI to join the Hoyas. He won the NY State cross-country title, and last weekend posted the fastest 3200-meter time in the country this academic year. He had originally given a verbal to U of Penn and had also been considering Villanova and Syracuse.
Welcome to the Hoyas!

Thanks Frazier. Shea won the Freedom games at the Ocean Breeze facility in 9:07. He has times of 4:15.88 in the mile and 8:59.46 for the 3200m, both I assume outdoors.

Good run for Tim McInerney at the Milrose Games Trials "Tim McInerney, a senior at Christian Brothers Academy NJ, dominated the second half of the boys invitational mile and ran 4:16.01, good for US#2 this season. McInerney is headed to Georgetown next fall. His 1,500 meter en route time was 4:00.22. William Baginski of Ridgewood NJ ran 4:16.87 (4:00.61 1,500) for second." www.dyestat.com/gprofile.php?mgroup_id=44531&do=news&news_id=557640

Matthew is having a great indoor season. At the Lynchburg,VA showcase meet:
1000: 1. Matthew Payamps (St Anthonys, South Huntington, NY) 2:25.09 (11,x HS); 2. Theo Woods (Glass, Lynchburg) 2:25.95.
He is the 11th all-time high school runner at this distance. He would have come in 4th or 5th at the recent PSU meet with collegiate runners.
EDIT: 2nd in the race, Theo Woods, is also a Hoya recruit!
