Hey, they ranked JT3 ahead of Mike Brey at least.

For non-insiders, we ranked 15th.
Scores out of 10: Coaching 7.9 Current talent 7.3 Recruiting 7.9 "Program Power" 8.4 Stability 8.4
ESPN likes: Coaching stability, GU's emphasis on hoops, 2014 recruiting class, assistant coach Taveras Hardy ESPN dislikes: recent NCAA record, lack of a proven star
Only other BE program on this Top 25 list is Marquette at #19.

Can't really argue with our rank or the coaches grade given the lack of recent postseason success

Wisconsin and Gonzaga are too high. No way they should be ahead of us.

Can any of this be taken seriously? 3 years out??? No. The ESPN writers are doing the same thing we are: killing time in the offseason, pretending they know more than they do. I don't disagree with much of what was said, but raised an eyebrow at Gonzaga and Wisconsin being higher. While it pains me deeply to say it, I wonder if the Harvard of PG County wasn't underranked a little (based off of the criteria that programs were supposedly judged, I have all the confidence in the world that they'll muck up any perceived recruiting momentum).

Glockner has done a similar thing for SI. Gtown came in 17. Both seem reasonable to me. Thats 15/17 out of 340 some odd teams. Pretty good.
