I like that the staff was on him early and that he's, apparently, coming in for MM. I have positive (baseless) vibes with this kid.

Probably doesn't mean much in terms of him coming here, but he seems like a great young man in interviews and Twitter. Definitely more in the Georgetown mold. Of course, I felt that way about Ochefu and Kennedy Meeks.
Oh and his dad went to Dunbar before going to South Carolina, so maybe there are some local connections
And honestly, it takes a special breed to want to play for Frank Martin

It definitely sounds like the Hoyas have a real chance. Fingers crossed.

Feels like we are in pretty good position here. Great that he will be in for midnight madness. Staff is very high on him. Looking at roster make-ups G'town & Michigan look like the best fits to me.. His father has said he wants to go to a school where he can play the position(PG/Lead Guard) he's been groomed for since he was 4 years old.. We all know G'town has a need for backcourt help so no need to rehash it.. Derrickson, Dozier & Govan would be a top class for sure.. Unless Marcus Paige has a huge year and improves his stock he'll be back @ UNC playing the point with Britt & Berry in 2015.. The SG spot is open but both Justin Jackson & Theo Pinson can easily slide over from the sf spot.. TBH L'ville could easily take him too but I'm tired of Pitino, I'm hoping that Mitchell & Snyder deter him from going there.. Michigan could be the dark horse, they haven't offered yet but Dozier still gave them a visit. Looking at their roster, they could definitely use the help at guard.. I've never bought into the theory that getting kids drafted makes a school more attractive to other players and Beilien/Michigan seem to prove me right. Beilien has put 4 guards in the NBA over the past 2 seasons but it hasn't really helped them in recruiting at all.. He runs a guard friendly system also, very strange.. Louisville seems to be more in pursuit of Blankely at this point than Dozier.

Blackeney to Louisville per Meyer on Twitter. Certainly helps but presumably the main competition are the two Carolina schools.

UNC is still a school with regard to their ball players? I hadn't heard that.

Yeah, but Louisville was the new equation tossed in at the last minute and the program was on a roll recruiting wise. Honestly it scared me even more than UNC in this battle, certainly scared me more than South Carolina.

Would Peak being playing a role here? Seeing how they are both from SC.
