collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/07/26/aau-nationals-friday-recap-event-moves-to-louisville-bruce-brown-plays-well-noah-dickerson-updates-recruitment/Noah Dickerson still open to Georgetown — Class of 2015 four-star big man Noah Dickerson recently decommitted from Georgetown before the live evaluation period began in July. As the No. 56 overall prospect in Rivals‘ 2015 national rankings, Dickerson has drawn a lot of interest this July playing with the Georgia Stars. But Dickerson told NBCSports.com that he’s open to a return to the Hoyas, as well. Dickerson said he couldn’t name all of the scholarship offers he’s accumulated but mentioned Georgetown, Michigan, Virginia and Louisville as schools that are standing out. “I still really like Georgetown a lot,” Dickerson said to NBCSports.com. “I [decommitted] not because I didn’t want to go to Georgetown, I did it because I didn’t get a chance to take a look at all of the other schools like I looked at Georgetown. I have to take visits to these other schools to see what they’re like because I know Georgetown like the back of my hand. I don’t know the other schools like that.” Michigan has yet to offer, but Dickerson mentioned that they’ve been evaluating him for two years now. It will be interesting to see where Dickerson’s recruitment goes from here and he also mentioned that he’s going to make a decision this spring.

Jarred Reuter to Virginia. Does this take them out of the running for Noah?

I wonder what Noah thinks about Chase Jeter's commitment to Duke.

I'm not sure Duke was really in play here.

I'm not sure Duke was really in play here. If so, good for him to know!

If we replace the Dickerson PF commitment with an elite, true C commitment from Rabb and add in a top-flight PG/Combo Guard who can shoot the 3, it's hard not to imagine us being serious national contenders in 2 years. I think the early Kenner reports have confirmed that White, Copeland, Peak, and Campbell will all be solid college players by their sophomore years, if not sooner. DSR will be an all-conference type player leading the squad. Rabb instant impact at Center. Prolly need another guard for depth. Man, this could be exciting if we can keep it all together (big if these days in college hoops). Guards DSR Senior Campbell Soph Peak Soph Frosh Forwards White Soph Copeland Soph Derrickson Frosh Cameron Junior Mourning Soph Centers Govan - Frosh Hayes - Senior Rabb - Frosh

Not to pick too much but is Rabb really a true C? More of a PF, no? Either way, he would make us tons better.

Sure. A center should have more of a back-down game, be able to defend bigger players and rebound. A PF would need a little more range and speed. Skill-wise, we can interchange them in our system with passing big men at both positions, but to me, defensively at least you need more bulk and less speed at the 5.

I think Washington recruiting boards reported he was on an unofficial this week.

Dan McDonald is on Rivals and just said today that he thinks it's looking like Florida or LSU but he wouldn't be surprised if it's Gtown. So Jerry just misquoted him.

Played the staff and the Mutombo's. I remember a little something about him attending the same school as Mutombo's daughter and wanting to be a Hoya, hmmmm. BS!!!!!
