He's going to have schools like Kentucky and Kansas crawling all over him. They are looking for bodies. We have no need for a big man.

I realize that we essentially filled Dickerson's slot with Agau, but if we are looking at somebody like Williams as a transfer, why not Dickerson, who would be immediately eligible? I realize they aren't identical players but still...

I realize they aren't identical players but still... Pretty good chance Dickerson's better than Agau and Hayes right now. If it's between not using the scholarship and bringing in Dickerson, I'd go with Dickerson. Plus, given the original commitment/Deke connection, it's worth checking into to see if something's still there. That said, I think Noah's going to have options with many of the top programs in the country, some of which have more obviously available playing time than Georgetown. As such, I expect him to end up elsewhere.

Hearing LSU as a possibility. Do not want him anyway, especially if another rumor I heard is true (Multiple failed Drug tests).

Article from Casual Hoya dated 5/12 suggesting Dickerson very much an option for Hoyas.

Article from Casual Hoya dated 5/12 suggesting Dickerson very much an option for Hoyas. Later comment from Casual in the thread below that article indicates the very opposite - we are not pursuing. But who really knows anyway...

Leaving Washington...
He spurned the Hoyas in the past so probably nothing doing, but we need bodies!

12 and 8, not bad - and he doesn't want to play for a Syracuse guy, so there is that. But yeah, probably a pass.

Recent Rivals blurb on top available transfers: "4. Noah Dickerson: Playing with the potential No. 1 pick in this year’s NBA Draft, guard Markelle Fultz, Dickerson did a lot of positive things for Washington this past season. A well-built and strong-bodied center that rebounds the ball and can finish in traffic, Dickerson will likely return to the East Coast with a bevy of top-flight programs chasing after him. He will have two years of eligibility remaining after he sits out next year." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/twitter-tuesday-exploring-the-transfer-marketWasn't Dickerson said to be tight with Deke at one point? Maybe the Ewing hire helps make Georgetown an interesting option again?
