Obviously, the staff is not happy with the SF position for 2013, so that tells me perhaps someone else is on their way out. Btw, this guy looks way older than hs age, but oh well....

Btw, this guy looks way older than hs age, but oh well.... zagsblog.com/articles/rutgers-uconn-georgetown-involved-with-2000-point-scorer-wilfredo-rodriguez/Rodriguez has flown under the radar somewhat because he played with the Puerto Rican 18U National Team last summer. “He missed out on some open periods because of playing internationally,” Morales said. He initially committed to Air Force Prep with the intention of going Division 1 in 2014, but could now suit up for a college in 2013.

He wrote that wrong. Was 2014 now available for 2013.
This kid looks legit. I would think he could play the 2 an move whit to the 3
Why does this have to raise the alarm? We have an open Schollie for next year. If we have a chance to get an under the radar stud there's 0 downside regardless of who's on the roster

www.sourcehoops.com/rodriguez-is-turning-heads/A big time sleeper inside of the class of 2013 is Wilfredo Rodriguez. Rodriguez is a slim 6’6 forward with a knack for scoring the basketball. We saw that first hand a couple weeks ago at the Travel Team Jamboree where he led D12 Warriors to two big wins against highly touted Florida Rams and E1T1 South. Hitting the three ball, getting out on the break and scoring in transition, beating his man off the dribble, Rodriguez had it rolling! Wilfredo played for East River High School located in the Orlando area. He led them in scoring with 22 points per game despite a 14-11 record. This is a huge summer for Wilfredo to prove his talents and he would love to start it off matching up with E1T1 Elite and a rematch with the Florida Rams with Kasey Hill in attendance. “I want to prove to people I can play with those guys”, stated Rodriguez. “I would like to match up with Demarcus Croaker this summer. I want to prove he should not be rated higher than me,” added Wilfredo when asked who he would like compete against this summer. Rodriguez has shown us tremendous improvement throughout the year and when asked what his focus is this off season he said, “I want to tighten up my handles and stay in the weight room.” Currently Wilfredo holds only one offer from Jacksonville University but we expect all that to change this summer and upcoming school year. Murray State, Oregon State, Utah State, UCF, Campbell, Creighton, and VCU all are extremely interested in the scorer.

I really like this kid's ability to create scoring opportunities. He had a great backcut in there too - that has to be attractive to the staff!

I wasn't alarmed, I was just saying the staff obviously isn't satified at this point and you're right; if they have a chance to add a stud to the team then by all means. Depth is always a good thing. Greg is a 3/4, is Cameron his back up?

Always need to be prepared for departures. Maybe the staff doesn't like what they are seeing for our wings in the future or maybe they are so blown away by what they are seeing by some of our current guys that they are preparing for them to move on early.

I agree Hometown. JT3 has always praised Greg's game. Could he have that kind of season? Would he jump early? I think so.

At the ticket upgrade thing last Sept/October, III said, "Number 2 is playing better than number 22, and number 22 is playing great."

zagsblog.com/rutgers/baez-rodriguez-visit-rutgers/Puerto Rican basketball players Allen Baez and Wilfredo Rodriguez visited Rutgers on Tuesday but left without scholarship offers. Baez remains in the mix at Rutgers, but Rodriguez does not. “Coach [Eddie] Jordan and [associate head coach David] Cox are seriously considering Baez,” Todd Washington of the Puerto Rico Playmakers told SNY.tv. “Carlos [Morales] and the coaching staff agreed that Wilfredo is not the right fit. They have been up front about their view of both players.

Cool! We're WingU, not Rutgers.
