You do have to admit it getting closer every year. And you have the high prep kids going junior for a year or two.

Ann Arbour is producing some nice talent, but the elite gap is widening between Canada and USA. GTHL trumps.

You guys are funny. Must be a discussion of BC's hockey recruits.

you still never know Enj. Matheson will be a player Jurys out on Santini. As a lifelong, diehard Devils fan, I hope like hell the jury returns a favorable verdict in the Santini case. Kid is oozing potential though.

Ann Arbour is producing some nice talent, but the elite gap is widening between Canada and USA. GTHL trumps. Is it really? Seems like more and more kids are being drafted high out of the US Dev. Team. Certainly juniors will always be king, but is the gap actually widening? I haven't looked at the numbers though, so my perception could be off.

Look at the elite level talent at Sochi. Huge gap between Canada and USA.
I know off topic...

Look at the elite level talent at Sochi. Huge gap between Canada and USA. I know off topic... I don't agree with that. I wouldn't say it was a huge gap. Our team is pretty damn good these days. And the gap has certainly closed over the last couple decades. Yes, Canada was clearly better, but not by a gigantic margin. They had more depth but I think our top line players are just as good as theirs.

Full disclosure I'm Canadian. USA didn't have one C that would crack our top 4. USA had one D McDonough, that would have been at best our 5-7.

I don't know what you guys are smoking but BC just put together a stellar class. Sonny Milano was a first rounder and it looks like Noah Hannifan will be a top 3/4 pick in next years draft. No, he won't leap past McDavid or Eichel but he could be the first D taken in the draft. Why wouldn't Mann want to be a part of this? That was really clever, enj!

Wonder if this affects Bacon at all. Probably not; I wouldn't imagine Bacon would be scared off by Mann.
