If you build it [the IAC], he will come [to GU].

Jack, people will come Jack. Recruits will come to Georgetown for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll turn up on the hilltop not knowing for sure why they're doing it. They'll arrive at your door as innocent as children, longing for the past. Of course, we won't mind if you look around, you'll say. It's only a signed letter of intent. They'll sign on the dot without even thinking about it: for it is raw talent they have and discipline they lack. And they'll walk out to the locker room; play in their jerseys on a perfect afternoon. They'll find they have banners to hang somewhere along one of the walls, where they'll hang next to those of their heroes. And they'll play the game and it'll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters. The championships will be so many they'll have to build a separate building to hold them. Recruits will come Jack. The one constant through all the years, Jack, has been Hoya Basketball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But Hoya Basketball has marked the time. This university, this game: it's a part of our past, Jack. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... recruits will come Jack. Recruits will most definitely come.

If only Michael Graham's nickname had been Moonlight. We'd be a lock.

whenever georgetown offers, he will sign. He is a top 50 player and a good SG why not offer right now?

zagsblog.com/recruiting/terance-mann-ready-to-take-over-for-wayne-selden/Mann currently holds offers from Florida, Iowa State, Boston College and Rhode Island as well as interest from many others. But he is looking for a team that plays a style that he fits into. “ I’m looking for team that runs a constant motion offense that is always moving, and a team that runs on the fast break well,” he said.

espn.go.com/blog/boston/high-school/post/_/id/24063/babc-expressions-make-mark-at-nike-eyblHowever, rising star Terrance Mann, a long 6-foot-5 wing player from Lowell, has already become one of New England’s most promising prospects. The Tilton (N.H.) sophomore picked up scholarship offers recently from Florida and Iowa State. Mann, after receiving the offer from the Gators, said in an interview with ESPNBoston.com that he learned a lot this past prep school season from AAU and prep teammate Wayne Selden -- who on many occasions carried Tilton to wins following the graduation last year of Dominique Bull, Nerlens Noel, and Georges Niang. “I learned a lot, seeing Wayne take over as much as he did," Mann said. "He was the man who had to take over, that’s a hard role to pick up. He’s in the gym every day. Having a work ethic like he does, by the time next year comes around, I think I’ll be ready to be a go-to [scorer]."

You rarely see kids saying they want a motion offense. Usually they just want to play as fast as they can. That's pretty cool and would be a good sign for us obviously.

Gurus-how does Mann stack up against Howard? We would be looking at Crawford more at PG or also the combo?

T Mann reminds me of Jabril in playing style with better shooting mechanics. Plays tough, likes to defend, and his strength is attacking the basket. His shot mechanics are solid but he doesn’t make a ton. Mom is a coach so he should get better in this area.

Every Gtown team needs a Jabril Trawick. He brings a work ethic and tenacity that every team needs.
That being said, I just checked out this video that I hadn't seen before (it's a bit older):
You can definitely see that Terrance has pretty good passing ability. Add that to the fact he's the son of a coach who also is a Gtown alumn, and I say we offer him right now!

Want.
I like the direction we are heading with athletic kids coming in. Guys like this that can create their own shot will open up the arc for Reggie, DSR, Domingo and others
