As long as his announcement is NOT on ESPN, the Hoyas may have a chance

As long as his announcement is NOT on ESPN, the Hoyas may have a chance November 11th is the beginning of early signing period so he maybe lobbying to get his announcement broadcasted on espn U. The real indicator will be if he pushes it to Thursday November 12th because that's the date of espn U recruiting nation program will be aired. That's the vehicle ESPN uses to put these athletes on the national stage to do dumb ass things like cut stupid logos into their hair.

I believe him when he says no one knows what he's thinking but I find it hard to believe that he doesn't have a favorite and most importantly I don't believe that G'town will be his favorite in the end.. Does he really need another month to decide?

As you can tell from my previous blog I'm at my wits end with this recruitment this program needs his services. We need the talent of a Seventh Woods type player going forward we have all the other pieces we just need to add Mr. Woods. I've stated this before, with his ball handling skills coupled with his ability to get to the rim, we without a doubt would have beat a Utah like squad last year.

I figure he is going to do a ceremony on the 11th and sign. He seems like a low key guy

I'll save myself the headache and believe he'll choose either between Chapel Hill or Columbia, SC.

Does he really need another month to decide? Etomic I'm with you. I've been saying that by the time Woods left his Georgetown visit he had a strong idea of where he was going. Remember it's been documented that he has unofficially visited both South Carolina and UNC several times. He has sat in the offices of both head coaches. Met with a professor or two in his potential majors, eaten at the cafeteria, seen them in practice, in games and played pick up ball with them. He knew everything he needed to know about those schools long before his official visits. The only thing new he says he viewed on his official to South Carolina was the brand new dorms that just opened at the beginning of this semester, but he didn't need an official visit to drive down the street to campus to see the new housing. His official to Georgetown was the 1st time he had been on campus and got a feel for what Georgetown has to offer academically, athletically and socially. Once he left Georgetown, I believe he had an idea where he was going. Maybe he was using the officials to South Carolina and UNC to confirm his decision or maybe just to have some fun. Maybe both! I also don't believe the narrative that he isn't enjoying the attention he is receiving from the coaches and media. If it really bothered him, he post a video or tweet his decision and get it over with. You can tell the kids that aren't interested in all the attention. Jagan Mosely, Tyler Foster, Jessie Govan, Issac Copeland are kids that aren't in it for the attention. I can name a bunch of other kids that don't drag out their recruiting and have committed to other schools shortly after their visits. I absolutely believe he knows where he is going. He has known for a while and I don't think it's Georgetown.

While I would love to add Woods to the fold and believe he would do great things in a Hoya uniform, I don't believe if he chooses to go elsewhere, it wouldn't be the end of all things. Jagan Mosely is going to better in college then whatever his ranking is. He is a perfect fit for JT3 system and fits the team system. I also think he has the physical tools to develop into a dynamic PG who could eventually play in the association. I'm not throwing any shade towards Woods in any way and I really hope he becomes a Hoya but I'm not sweating his recruitment in any way.

Pretty understandable and normal for a teenager to go back and forth on the decision about where to go to college. Honestly, it would be weirder if he didn't.
