www.tarheeltimes.com/article67501.aspxSeventh Woods focused on four and preparing for visits Monday, August 17, 2015 Point guard Seventh Woods of Hammond (S.C.) is in the final stages of his recruiting process and is down to a final four, his coach said Monday. Coach Mark McClam said Woods will announce his four schools on Twitter sometime soon. "I met with him and his dad last week and we talked at length about the recruiting process," McClam said. "He's got options and it's time to narrow this down and make a decision pretty soon. He's down to the schools he likes." (Palmetto Sports)

Gurus do we make the FF and get an official visit? I know the masses hate small back courts but I think they will make an exception for a 5* talent.

The conventional wisdom has been that he wants to go to South Carolina and that UNC was also up there, but who knows. I remember LJ Peak was considered a South Carolina lock at this point of the recruiting process as well.

Longshot probably, but don't bet against Broadus.

It's a stupid argument anyways, like they wouldn't take this kid if he was 6'0 with his ability....lol
And for all the talk of how these small guards constantly get scored over our big 6'3 Guard whose no slouch shot a combined 29-78 against 5'11 Frank Mason and 5'10 Dee Davis and 5'11 Alex Barlow. So yeah it sounds cool but facts don't have a height bias, either you can play or you can't

I would only recruit point guards that are 6'7 or more and forwards that are 6'7 or less, just to confuse the other team. But our center has to be 7'2, 300 lbs.

Can't post it at the moment, but looks like we made top 4 (UF; South Carolina; UNC; Hoyas). Nice job by the staff.
Edit - Should say "final" 4. Saw a tweet from Big east Coast Bias.

Jeff Borzello @jeffborzello 13m13 minutes ago ESPN 100 prospect Seventh Woods said that he's down to Florida, Georgetown, South Carolina and North Carolina.

I actually think we have a great shot with this kid. Florida is going to really struggle this year with their weak roster especially now that Dickerson decommitted. North Carolina has impending sanctions on them which are likely to scare any top recruit. South Carolina is our biggest competitor IMO for his talents but given our strong basketball history/academics there's no way why we couldn't get him.

Want! Granted this is from highlight reels, but despite his clear athleticism, kid looks like he plays under control and a willing passer. Seems to have some good vision. Definitely the type of kid that can change perceptions about Gtown and guards. I really like the kids we're on/picked up. Kudos to the staff.
Get AI on campus when Woods comes to visit!
This!! Ultimately I still think it's SC but Broadus has pulled some huge rabbits out of the hat in the past and maybe this is his greatest. the kid maybe ranked in the 30s now but that's because he didn't play AAU last year because of injury. He should be our focus now......Him and Banks and I would be beyond pleased.

This kid is a future pro .. A.I talent IMO .. There is no way he's 14 .. Thoughts Two and 1/2 years ago Krukster posted about this kid. Hundred of schools have tried to get him. Now it is nearing the end and we are one of the Final Four!! Kruk man, we hope you get your guy!!

AI could be our strongest card. It would nice to beat South Carolina after they won out on Dozier. I'm not too worried about UNC or Florida. So it's a two horse race.
