EasyEd,
I am a big Reagan fan, and a republican, but even I get a kick out of the fact that they named an airport after the guy who fired all of the Air Traffic Controllers!

It's funny how very few people reacted against naming the Kennedy Center, RFK stadium, Kennedy International Airport, and numerous other places, schools and buildings just weeks after JFK or RFK died. Perhaps if you young adults were to study history and note what communism really was and what the cold war was all about and its frightening possible nuclear consequences and what Reagan did to bring communism down in the face of vicious attacks from his political enemies, you wouldn't be so quick to condemn recognizing him in the naming of a few places. I know this is way off topic but this is not the first time posters have used this board as a means of expressing their political opinions. Recognize him someplace else than an airport and the largest federal government building in the city. The man fired the air traffic controllers and purpotedly was Mr. Small Government. Republican hypocrisy!? Never.

Stop the controversy! Back to Georgetown hoops...
Is Jonathan Wallace a good point guard? Should Darrel Owens return next season? Seriously, what does everyone really think about Craig Esherick?

he's probably doing the Chicago games on radio for Westwood One. This is correct. I recognized his voice immediately while listening to the radio the other day. And this story has me LMAO. "I'm not John Thompson, he's the coach of the Hoyas. I'm 'Pops'."

I thought the Pope did as much or more to end communism. I always thought it was the Miracle on Ice hockey game that did in communism.

I always thought it was the Miracle on Ice hockey game that did in communism. Actually, it was Rocky Balboa.

Thats happened to me before when i was coming home from Georgia one time and low and behold there is Craig Eshrick sitting 2 seat from me i introduced my self and told him your son rode my bus in elementary school and so i go to the bathroom and stading there in front of me is Jim Calhoun. This was really weird and they see each other and the plane was empty so they sat next to each other and i'm thinking this is totally weird the Georgetown and UConn coaches are sitting next to me. That also happened when Al Gore was sitting in front me and my best friends dad was flying and we were officially on Air Force 2 and landed quickly.

I was on a plane back to Indy one time when I noticed this Jack Ass with a W inauguration bag. My wife commented on what an idiot (the words weren't that nice) he was and I asked that she look at who he was. It was Ari Fleischer. Jack asses run in packs and those who flaunt being left or right are idiots. Reagan destroyed DC by cutting funding for the mentally handicapped and putting them on the streets. I am not talking Wisey's panhandlers, I am talking folks with real problems. GO HOYAS, BEAT SC!

STOP THE MADNESS!!! Honestly people take the politics somewhere else (Blue and Gray board perhaps). This board is about Basketball. The Hoyas attempt to block the Cocks. Cocks banging under the boards. MSG. NIT. Sweet 16 next year. Digger loves us (or is on some serious medication). New arenas. Duke Sucks. JTII is a basketball god.

Clubber is one of those characters that is just a resevoir of great film quotes: Sports reporter - Clubber, do you hate Rocky Balboa? Clubber: I don't hate Balboa. I PITY THE FOOL!!! Reporter - What's your prediction for the fight, Clubber? Clubber: My prediction?..... (turns and looks at the camera).... PAIN. Clubber - I'M GONNA TORTURE HIM. I'M GONNA CRUCIFY HIM. REAALLLL BAAAAAAD!!! HAHAHAHA.... god bless T. He's the man. GO HOYAS!!!

I can only guess that he came to Chicago for the NCAA regional games this weekend. But I don't think I'll ever forget meeting the greatest college basketball coach of all time (maybe I'm a bit biased). yes you are a bit biased.... but so am I...:-)

Hey ColumbiaHeightsHoya, nobody wants to hear your ill-informed bile here about what a "jack ass" someone is for expressing their free speech rights on their person. We are all just SURE you would have had the same feelings if it were a Kerry button. Supposing anyone wants to hear it anywhere, from a simpleton who thinks the president is (or should be) responsible for foreign exchange rates, take your 2nd grade knowledge of macroeconomics to the B&G.
