So anuaku is announcing on the 4th and this guy comes on the 11th. Is it possible we pull a 6 man class or is anuaku headed elsewhere? Louisville Then why is he bothering to visit this weekend?

Help me understand please. To whom is "Louisville" referring? Honestly, if neither one comes it is not the end of the world. Big men are a high risk, high reward proposition, with few exceptions. Hibbert, Monroe and Henry in his last year each panned out. Others have not. Nerlens Noel had enormous potential, got injured and moved on. Kentucky's one and done factory got very little back for the scholarship. Each of the two centers being recruited has potential but neither is such a finished product that there is a guarantee of success.

Lotta accounts have him locked up to UL. Gotta credit the staff though. Maybe he's wavering a bit and the allure of being closer to home is swaying him a bit. Guess we'll see! It's weird...Elbert seems to pay alot of attention to the gtown program and its fans over social media. Hopefully the people getting the most press (ie his AAU coach) doesn't have as much pull as he makes it out to seem. I've been tempering my expectations but lets see how this plays out. I'm glad he's got a date set to visit again. He also should have lasting memories of the smackdown we put on Cuse last year

Could definitely see coaches convincing Onuaku to at least visit once before he makes his decision. Might as well since the school is so close. Doesn't necessarily mean he's doubting his decision (assuming he made one) to go elsewhere or that Gtown is all of a sudden a serious threat to land him. But you never know either.

No more big college football games for the schools he lists? He's clearly very pumped to come see the Hoyas take on Fordham on the MSF on the 12th! Lol! Clearly, from his tweets, he knows it's a basketball school.

Reading wayyyyyyyy too much into those tweets, it's us vs. OSU and maybe A&M, IMO.

Elbert is like a Frodor's or Frommer's. Says just the right things, even about making his decision... It's like JT3 is writing his script!!! Great for him, not for us waiting for his decision...

announcing Tuesday. So the Oct 11 visit is not happening. That's cool. We didn't need a center in 2014 anyway

Yea, definitely not ideal - would have to think we still have a chance, but are underdogs.

Wait until Tuesday before jumping ship, Elbert has already visited... May not need the whipped cream on the hot chocolate to drink it...

Maybe he should ask Johnny O'bryant how that turned out.
They also have received commitments from 5 top 100 players in the last two years after a decade of being a doormat. He must really enjoy watching football though if you look at his remaining schools....

I usually try to stay away from criticizing recruits' decisions and can usually see reasons for picking certain schools but this time I gotta say this is one of the dumbest decisions a recruit could make taking into account his position, style of play, and roster. At least if he goes to OSU, there's some legitimacy to that (although he's picking Jared Sullinger and Oden over Hibbert and Monroe which isn't even close IMO). Picking the other schools though would be a joke. However, I also think that as much as this hurts right now, I've doubted this guy's attitude for awhile and wondered whether he would fit into the character of the current roster. Not saying he's a bad kid by any means (in fact I think he's a good guy) but his mentality always seems to be that it's everybody else's fault, he had bad luck, everything is miserable, etc and I just don't see that working with the class we have coming in which are all extremely hard working players. Chemistry is extremely important as we can all remember from that 2009 team.
