From ESPN Insider...
North Carolina is in line to host much more than Duke tomorrow in Chapel Hill. As Inside Carolina reports, the list of players who will be on campus for the Tar Heels game against the Blue Devils is absurd.
The most notable, of course, is 2013 No. 1 Andrew Wiggins. The recruiting world is following his every move and North Carolina is not thought to be the favorite. Also coming to town, though, is 2014 No. 14 Justin Jackson (who was on campus last weekend and committed to UNC already), 2014 No. 9 Rashad Vaughn, and 2014 No. 13 Theo Pinson, who's from nearby High Point Wesleyan.
I guess we will see if he actually shows up tomorrow

The Duke-UNC game is at 9pm. Recruits could easily come to our game, hop on a flight and be in Chapel Hill for hours before tipoff.

How do folks feel Pinson's presence affects Booth and or Wiley?
It seems like a slight to me but I admit I'm kinda naive when it comes to recruiting.
The staff has been on both very hard especially Phil and then the biggest game of the year they invite a more highly rated/better player to the game also who by most accounts doesn't have any interest in G'town..
What message does Booth take from it?

Pinson has interest, he's just perceived as favoring other schools. The staff wouldn't be recruiting Pinson if they didn't feel there was a chance he'll be a Hoya.
As for other recruits taking it as a slight if we continue recruiting other guys...If that bothers them they should probably toughen up. Or just commit and take a spot. You can't focus all your efforts on one or two guys because as we all should know by now, there are no sure things in recruiting.

Wiley and Booth would be a 1 for us so not the same position as Pinson.

Not sure of Wiley; I'd imagine Copeland is #1 on the radar and we seem to have a spot for him and he's lauded his relationship with the staff. As for guards, they really like both Wiley and Booth; Booth being more of a 1 than Wiley. Similar size.

If JT3 could get commits from (up to) 3 of those kids, who would you prefer?

Wiley and Booth would be a 1 for us so not the same position as Pinson. I don't care what the staff is telling him, there is no way Wiley could play the 1 for us. It'd be like if Austin had played the one.

I agree with POD here Rock.. I know the system G'town runs doesn't require a traditional pg but every team needs a strong ball handler to break pressure. I don't see Wiley being that player..

Wiley’s an interesting kid, it seems this board is not in love with him like other opposing teams message boards I’ve seen.. I’ve only seen highlights and some limited game action but he appears to have a college body, and that jumper looks pure. Hardwood mentioned that in the Summers he facilitates a lot for the Takeover team. Obviously not the same as running the team in a formal game setting but experience none the less I guess..
I will say the knock on his defense is a consistent theme however..

Good shooter, bad body, pure scorer but just no motor, not going to work off the ball to get his shots, lazy to non existent on defense.
