It is the right thing to do. Bowen is not some random bench player who is likely to hurt the team by starting. I hope that both he and Hopkins are in the starting lineup for Senior Day.

He celebrated his senior day last year by coming off the bench with one of his better games of his career against Creighton.
lets hope he can repeat the same, coming of the bench.

There really is no precedent to expect JT3 to change the starting lineup for Senior Day. I understand it's meaningful to some, but there's no reason to mess with the starting lineup, especially when these guys are all going to get playing time during the game anyway.
I don't know if there would be a way to get Tyler Adams out there for a minute at the end without violating scholarship rules, but that would be great.

Not much change needed. Just Hops back for Ike and Bowen for LJ.

Give Bowen credit came up big when it mattered in the second half. Excellent Defense after a horrible first half. Give three credit going back to him.

He definitely put a stop to Dunham's momentum, and not only hit the big three, but even made the first of the one and one in crunch time...not an easy task for a guy with his free throw stroke

Stats vs. Eastern Washington (NCAA Tournament):
17 mins, 8pts. 3/6 FG's 1/1 3pt, 1/5 FT's
Along with Bradley Hayes and Tre Campbell, Aaron Bowen bought steady defensive play and was very aggressive in driving to the hole and drawing fouls in the 1st half. These 3 players were big as the E. Washington had the momentum and the game looked like another double-digit seed loss. Good game by Bowen to contribute with energy and aggressiveness to help the Hoyas build a 10pt. half time lead last night.
The officials were definitely giving Bowen the benefit of the doubt on the drives to the rim and he took advantage of the whistles.
