It means that he has a low usage so the numbers are skewed in his favor. Not enough data to take anything real from those numbers... Offensive efficiency, as measured by KenPom (and others) is a statistic that figures out the amount of points scored every 100 possessions. This is not the same thing as usage. Usage refers to the frequency with which you "use" a possession. For example, let's say you have a game with two players. One player is 2-4 on three point shots, and another was 2-4 on two point shots. The player making the three point shots would have a higher offensive rating (or efficiency) because he would score more points per possession than the player who made the two point shots. It's true that a small sample size of statistics can skew somebody up or down, but DSR has played a decent amount. It's not like he's played 5 minutes, and he has a 150 offensive efficiency rating or something. The fact is, right now, DSR is the 4th best when it comes to offensive efficiency. I just really meant the sample size is small. The thing is he shoots 34% from 2 and 31% from 3, and basically right now he is a one dimensional player.. If we’re just gonna throw rocks up, we mine as well play someone that can contribute in other areas..

Hey everyone, can we please use the DSR threat to argue about DSR and this thread to talk about Moses?

I didn't get to watch the game live... Any reason he only played 4 min? We're we going small the whole game?

Happy that Moses was freed, even if it was necessitated by foul trouble. He played a very solid game defensively and didn't look lost on O. Importantly, he gives it his all every possession. I get the sense that he'll improve significantly going forward as he gets more minutes under his belt.

He is obviously limited offensively at this point, but he will only get better with this. He had TEN big rebounds today, would love to see that continue.

JT2 was definitely right when he said this guy could crash the boards. Not sure we have seen the "best shot blocker" yet but there's plenty of time to see what happens.

He's a real team player and his lack of offensive ability makes him a pass first guy. We could definitely continue to use the rebound and pass the ball out abilities that hop doesn't have.

None of Ayegba’s season-high 10 rebounds was more important than the one he grabbed once the Irish pulled within a basket.
“That was really the turning point of the game,” said Notre Dame’s senior forward Jack Cooley, held to 10 points on 4-of-11 shooting. “If we would have gotten that rebound, who knows what would have happened.”
He's valuable - Me lol

I thought that Moses's strength really limited Cooley, who had been able to muscle Hop and Nate around and draw fouls. ND became more of a jump-shooting offense when Moses was in and Cooley became frustrated.
