After consulting online mediums, I have determined this is the proper means...will someone on the ground please get the ball rolling on this one. www.fortunecity.com/roswell/chaney/191/id20.htmAhh the internet is so informative... TO REMOVE A HEX / REVERSE A JINXED CONDITION Although it is relatively rare that someone is truly hexed, it does happen. Also, it is important to note that the mind has a very powerful effect on the body, so if you believe yourself to be hexed, in effect, you are... This spell will remove any hexed or jinxed condition, whether real or imagined. Fashion a poppet out of white felt or other white material. Stuff the poppet with vetivert herb, and place on your altar. Inscribe your name on a purple candle and anoint the candle with an appropriate oil (I use patchouli, but there are other formulations on the market, such as uncrossing oil, or go away oil which will work just fine). Visualize as strongly as possible the hex upon you...feel its power and the strength it has had over you...Now take a handful of garlic powder and sprinkle it over the poppet, while strongly visualizing the hex/jinxed condition being broken. Put as much feeling and emotion into this process as possible...now relax...allow the candle to burn down completely. It is finished...the hex is broken...so mote it be.

Barker Davis: Hoyas Return to McDonoughwww.washtimes.com/sports/20050321-114803-7017r.htmMadness is finally returning to McDonough.
For the first time in a dozen years, Georgetown will play a postseason game on campus tonight when Cal State Fullerton meets the Hoyas in the second round of the NIT at McDonough Arena.
"I think we're going to get a little bit of a taste of a homecourt advantage and see what it feels like," senior forward Darrel Owens said in anticipation of a raucous crowd at the 2,600-seat gymnasium.

I didn't like that DJ quote at all. While it may be true, it is better left unsaid for recruiting reasons.

So can we finally be a little more creative in our chants tomorrow? I understand that chanting is hard when everyones so spread out at MCI, and its difficult to get the non student fans all syncronized, but in tiny McDonough I think we should be able to get much better results. Of course all of the traditional chants are solid, but does anyone have anything creative? SUCKS 2 B U was pretty creative, however Im a fan of chants that present us as dominant rather than mocking our opponents.
Off the top of my head:
-"You cant stop him" if Jeff goes off again
-"Brandon Bowman" if Brandon does
-"Please come back" or "One more year" if Darrell blows up
-"We want Izzo" if the game gets out of hand
but these aren't especially creative. Id love to have a really great showing for the national audience, where people watching say "Hey, Georgetown games look like a great time!"

Just be loud.
If creative/clever comes, it'll catch on in a group that small. But forcing it just makes everything come out lame.
Be loud.

Personally, I think Jeff should get the "Rookie of the Year" chant for right now, but that's just me. "You can't stop him" will always be Big Mike Sweetney's cheer. Then again, so was "one more year".

This isn't for any important parts of the game, but if we get a big enough lead how about a cheer for Rich Chvotkin? I didn't know much about him until this season, but he sounds like the ultimate superfan.

"Forget the Titans"....? "Stick to baseball"....? ....I love it! Especially 'Forget the Titans'.... It has one more syllable than usual, but we can sort of contract the word Forget into one syllable. As for cheering for Chvotkin, Id love to, but I doubt enough of the student body really knows about him in order to do it. Id like to chant something that thanks the team for their effort this year, or maybe one that thanks Coach Thompson for what he's done this year (beyond just his JTIII chant). Also, maybe something that thanks the seniors. If possible, something that expresses that next year is our year....... these are some messages thatd be good to get across, but its tough to make them so succinct that its easy to cheer them.

"JTII! What is best in life?"
"To crush your enemies -- See them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!"
Let's crush the Titans...

I've been doing "Rookie of the Year" for Jeff for some time now.
I like "Coach of the Year" for 3, though "Thank you 3" really sums it up nicely.
Look forward to the game!

Of course, this question is truly for entertainment purposes only, but what does everyone think of the 8 1/2 - 9 point line I've seen on the game tonight?
