So after the first night, things are 2-2. Who else was embarrassed watching ND students storm the court after beating the overrated #8 team in a game they probably should have been favored in?
Act like you've been there ND.

Actually, the Seton Hall collapse was not much fun to watch. I guess I have to start rooting for all the "basketball schools" in the Big East to thrive. Going to be hard rooting for St. Johns and Nova, but at least I can continue to hate Syracuse, Pitt and Notre Dame.

Totally agree about ND. Kentucky had lost to Duke and is only #8 and full of freshman. A veteran team like ND should have a little more restraint. Kentucky is clearly not teh UK of last year and no one expected them to be.

Act like you've been there ND. ND was favored in that game--1-2 pt favorite depending on when you looked at the line. I was embarrassed for ESPN--the need to show Digger Phelps talking during the game? Manti Teo "cam" where we got to see him after every play. ESPN might not believe this but there are some fans who just like to tune in and watch basketball being played and not some sideshow. That telecast was a circus and the fact ND fans rushed the court was a fitting end to the night.

Well, to be fair, that's the only on court/field celebration they will be using against an SEC team anytime soon.

RDF I agree with the theme but I have to say (and I hate ND more than most) that Teo came across as a good and genuine kid, really enthusiastic about the hoops team despite every reason to be pure ego(or id, whatever). Granted I was switching back and forth, and had I seen the court rush I probably would still be in the doctor's office having my nausea treated, but i felt like the kid left me with a decent impression. As for the rest of the ND crowd, just shows what years of sexual repression will do to a population, exploding at the least little stimulation.

If we had anything close to a similar experience, we would be talking about it for months.

By most accounts, Brey wanted even more of the football players to be there, and that's a smart move. III would clearly do the same.

It was the fact they were split screening it during game play. I really don't need to see Digger Phelps or Te'o while the game is going on

Vitale is a caricature of the caricature that he has always been.
Imagine watching that over the top partisan ND behavior as a Kentucky fan.
The ND backcourt is good and that team will be a tough out until the NCAA or the BET when it will collapse again because that is what ND does.
From a distance, it looks like it would be fun to be on the ND campus this year and then I remember South Bend and think not so much.
When they storm the court it is time to guard the sheep.
