I've got one of the championship coke bottles (unopened) as well. I think we got them as a giveaway at the Cap Center the year following the championship.
I've also got a bunch of old programs and Washington Post newspaper clippings from the late 70s & early 80s.

How about anything connected to the 1980 "Manley Fieldhouse is officially closed game"- the ball, Coach's white towel etc. I have some Syracuse neighbors (one hesitates to call them friends) that I would love to show such a relic to.

I actually have most of the Televised Hoya games dating back to the 81-82 Season until now.
On a lesser note, I have ticket stubs of most of the games I attended from about 89'

The Top Ten:
1. National Championship ring that apparently was "mistake" that had to be redone (has "Dalon" on the side for the player name instead of "Dalton." Sure hope Ralph got/still has the corrcted copy!)
2. Fake national championship ring/jeweler's sample with "Ewing" on the side.
3. 1980 Big East Conference Champions ring (no name on it).
4. Georgetown Today (school glossy mag) from May 1975, with cover photo of Derrick Jackson hitting the corner jumper against West Virginia to send us to the NCAAs.
5. Framed cover from the Georgetowner/May 1982, with drawing of Jack the Bulldog logo shedding a tear, captioned with "'I'm too old to cry and it hurts too much to laugh'" -- Adlai Stevenson" (this of course to acknowledge the pain of the NC championship loss).
6. Autographed Billy Martin and Reggie Williams jerseys.
7. Blue and Grey bordered quilt with 25 different hoya hoops t-shirts making up quilt top, including front of WAG shirt (We Are Georgetown) in the middle, with all eight back slogans of JTIII era surrounding it; four 16" x 16" throw pillows with front/back Hoya t-shirt covers sit atop it . . .
8. Several sets of all 100 GU basketball cards from the Collegiate set that came out in '91 (featuring not only the 80s greats but the likes of Merlin Wilson and Paul Tagliabue in uniform)
9. A 10 dvd set of formerly VHS copies of games and highlight tapes from the 80s and early 90s (e.g. the first ten years of the Big East history; "A Decade of Excellence" highlight reel for the Hoyas/80s; our rout of Depaul in '83s No. 1 vs. No. 2 game; Ewings' last home game when we CRUSHED Syracuse, etc.)
10. A 2' x 3' replica hardwood copy of the Verizon Center Hoya home court, populated wtih 6" Starter action figures of Hoya greats playing 5 on 5 (beats just looking at a boring old coffee table top . . .)

I don't have much Georgetown memorabilia and only recently started collecting things after my wife got me a few cool things:
1. Basketball signed by every member of the Georgetown 2011-2012 team and John Thompson III, plus photos authenticating that all of them signed it. What I found interesting is that Moses signed as "Moses Abraham" instead of Ayegba.
2. Georgetown pennant, circa 1930-1940? I don't know how old it is, but this pennant is blue and sort of tannish (no gray). It is clearly old and in good shape. Does anybody know what era this would have been from? I am pretty certain this would have had to be for football, likely between 1920-1940ish.
3. Little Georgetown pennant - same era as above. This is actually really tiny and is similar to the pennant above - it is blue with the tannish color. It has one pin hole in it. I assume this was probably meant to go on a jacket or something like that?
4. I also have the unopened 1984 Coke bottle a few others have mentioned.

The topic got me thinking/looking back again at some of my printed memorabilia that, through the wonders of being of a certain age and of ebay, might be of general interest concerning the rise of the Thompson (Jr.) era (when breaking into the Top 20 and not having to be identified as "Georgetown (DC)" were both "stretch objectives" . . . . IF DFW Hoya ever does a supplement to The Vault ("Thompson: The Early Years"), here are a few tidbits . . .
-- GU basketball program from JT Jr's first year, this one for the Hoya/Maryland game At McDonough (!!!; though we lost 99-73 to the Lucas/McMillen team). My favorite of a bunch of "good luck to the new coach/Hoyas" ads inside what is about a 24 page/bare bones program (but only cost 50 cents!) is a full page one that reads: "Hoya Productions and Warner Bros. Inc., along with the cast and crew of The Exorcist, wish the Hoyas good luck in the 1972-73 season."
-- 1977-78 baskettball media guide/Derrick Jackson rocking a pretty nice sized 'fro on the cover, with the rest of the guide looking like the 1964 National Lampoon High School Yearbook parody (a reference that a cohort of us will understand, and that pains me to admit).
-- Framed article/picture from the Washington Post in February 1978, two days after the Esherick GW shot, with headline "Three Ring, Full Court Circus" and jump headline "Pacemakers Ordered for the Hoya Faithful" (article recounts three of last four wins were by a point, etc.)(I've also got the Post's game story framed about one of those wins: over Detroit 83-82, featuring one of the greatest dunk pictures ever: Big Sky's down-the-lane follow over Terry Tyler, to foul Tyler out late and ignite our comeback win.)
-- March 4, 1980 Eastern Basketball magazine (a glossy published bi-weekly during the season back in the day) with a photo of Shelton dunking and headline "Hoyas End Manley Streak." Nice game story inside too.
-- Entire Post sports section the day after the Iowa loss in '80, with headline "Iowa Trips Hoyas 81-80" and picture below it showing Shelton's hand stuck in the net/bent back as he came over to try to block Steve Waite with game tied at 78, leading to Waite's 3 point play/our 81-80 loss. One of the most well-played games yet ultimately crushing losses that the picture poignantly encapsulates. (Eastern Basketball a week later had cover story on game, headlined "Heartbreak for the Hoyas." Indeed . . .)
-- Eastern Basketball Spring '81, with the High School Player of the Year on the cover -- one Patrick Ewing.

Framed Sports Illustrated from November 26th 1984 with Ewing, Thompson and Ronald Reagan on the cover. Now I just need Ewing and JT2 to sign it.

Eastern Basketball magazine really takes me back. They did a great job back in the late 70s early 80s covering the game and recruiting. Ralph Pollio and Tom Konchalski among others provided great info even if it was 2 weeks late by the time that you got it. To me it was far superior to what we get today instantly. Alas i just lost about 5 years of the magazine after storing in the basement they went down with a small flood. But I still have a framed Anheuser Busch poster from the 84 championship game along with all our final four programs post JT2.
I'm having trouble locating my JTIII signed UMCP ACC championship poster from 2018 Yes Seaweed pencil me in for a Big East No on the Hoops Only thing.

I forgot about this thread for a few days but I did have some submissions. I've got a fair amount of your run-of-the-mill memorabilia--Coke bottles, lots of old programs, ticket stubs, I'm sitting under The Hoya's BEAT DUKE insert from the 2006 game--and I also live in the household from up-thread that...ahem..."acquired" Allen Iverson's All-America plaque. What I like though are the random things that tell a stupid or funny story. These are on my fridge: 1. A [sic]fest of a nasty-gram TO: GEORGETOWN UNV. FROM: HOTEL MANAGMENT Resulting from a night's stay on a Hoya Blue road trip to the Hartford area in January 2006. These were placed on every door the next morning prior to checkout. Sadly, I wasn't privy to the part about "ceiling tiles were all over the hallway all on camera." The second paragraph IS WRITTEN IN ALL CAPS LIKE THIS AND EVERY SENTENCE ENDS IN FIVE EXCLAMATION POINTS FOR SOME REASON!!!!! A member of the group, feeling a certain kind of courteous, returned the note to the front desk with the grammatical mistakes corrected. 2. The KNOW BEFORE YOU SPEAK quarter-sheets that were placed around the student section a few seasons ago advising everyone to stop cheering and making signs that said "LET'S GET WATTAD-ED". Now to be clear, I'm glad people stopped doing it and I agree it's offensive. But goodness...Omar Wattad...that happened? 3. A pick-up letter a Villanova fan wrote to my then-girlfriend (now fiancee) in the parking lot of Whatever Bank It Was in 2009 Center. She was already visiting family in PA and went to the arena several hours before our game b/c it was also the on-sale date for some concert tickets (probably Springsteen). The parking lot wasn't very full, and I guess the dude saw her coming back from the box office to her car and was smitten (I'd always assumed Villanova fans were asexual). Instead of talking to her though, he went the creeper route and shoved a note into the door jam of her car: "You look fantastic in glasses (ha ha!)" it starts...and he proceeded to humblebrag about his job, invite her for coffee, and (I JUST remembered looking at it) left his email address (definitely a Nova fan). I think she emailed him from one of her spam accounts and let him down gently. Another random thing I have: I bought a Powerball ticket in a Winston-Salem gas station during the 2007 1st/2nd Round weekend, and decided to play the numbers of the starting lineup + the number 3 (for JT3) for the PowerBall. It actually won $3 b/c the PowerBall hit in the next drawing, but I decided just to keep the ticket. I happened recently to be in that same gas station...but in a fit of Hoyatalk synergy, I couldn't decide who should be the fifth number in the starting lineup. Random (read: silly or stupid) memorabilia I'd want: --In the vein of "Wattad-ed"...any "Brokeback Mountaineers" cheer sheets or signs that got people in trouble. --The couch that Hoya Blue kept rolling out in the front row during the latter part of the Esherick years. --Any full video of the Esherick rant. --Anything related to GW's attempt to conjure a rivalry with us during the 2005-6 season (when I was in grad school at GW). I had my hands on a bunch of random flyers, articles in The Hatchet...never saved anything. Any elusive pictures of the WG girl would have been golden. --The sign that made (makes?) repeated appearances at Georgetown-Syracuse games about convicts wearing orange and soldiers wearing gray. Because it's a little funny but also a little nonsensical in a way that's hard to define.
