I posted this here since it was the 1st recruiting thread I came across.. Can't stand the thought of Indiana taking over G'town primary recruiting base. insider.espn.go.com/blog/dave-telep/post/_/id/2869/team-takeover-hoops-festival-day-2Hoosiers taking over the DMV? Over the course of three days, I heard the Indiana Hoosiers mentioned multiple times with underclassmen playing in the event. Not just mentioned in passing, but prominently discussed. Gonzaga (D.C.) sophomore guard Bryant Crawford likes them and Derrickson is a major target. Why the sudden interest in the area’s hoop stars? Last year, the Hoosiers hired former Team Takeover assistant Kenny Johnson. Takeover produced Hoosiers Maurice Creek, Victor Oladipo and just signed 2013 wing Stanford Robinson, who played at Paul VI last year before transferring to Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.). IU recruited BeeJay Anya (another Takeover alum) hard before he chose NC State. Indiana is committed to mining the Baltimore/D.C. corridor and they aren’t going away. Crean sent his entire staff to the District on Sunday to watch the action. By the way, when you’re coaching the No. 1 team in the country, the entire gym is aware of your presence in the building.

JT3, Kenya, and one other assistant coach were at the O'Connell-St. Johns game last night.
I believe they were there to see Leroy Butts (class of 2015), but I can not confirm.

Doesn't Tre Campbell play for St. John's? If so--that's who I think they were mainly there to evaluate.

Saw Tre Saturday. He can stroke it. Needs to be more aggressive on dribble drives. He's a competitor though.

Looking at the roster, we could seriously use a point guard. What prospects at that position are we looking at?

More than likely it'll be a combo, if anything. If you notice, III wants multi-faceted players.

if so, JTIII should not take no for an answer from Andrew Wiggens.

Marcus Derrickson (Paul VI) would start for us today. Kid destroyed Monteverde today.

there's a 2015 guard named Terence Mann from Tilton School. Supposed to be good and his mom is a GU alum. Anyone know?

Wiggins has been FSU/UK for a while. For once UK may not get this one for a change. Took me the longest to realize this was Mitchell Wiggins' kid.
