Buzz from Top 100 camp was Maker most likely ends up signing with an Adidas school Ville Ucla or IU… Basically they're looking for a Hi level Program where he can be featured and doesn’t have to play with a bunch of other 5 star talent.. If not one of those supposedly he loves Duke and even though they are a long shot relative to the others they still have a shot Commanche is not happening and not really upset about it.. He’s a softy and he needs to get a lot stronger Ted Kapita maybe but heard he’s all Florida. Most of the guys below the Ivan Rabb elite level are going to be scared away by Govan tbh I’m talking about kids like Skal Chance etc Even though those guys are more PF than Centers.. Not sure what happened with Noah but read comments from a Duke insider who said he doubts they seriously pursue. He said they would have to miss on their top guys 2015-2016 before he thought they would go hard for him (as some here have speculated). Also said he was a good kid but a “fish in the barrel recruit” for a school like Duke and was ho hum about him. Without naming names this particular guy is very in tune with Duke and their recruiting It hurts but tbh Marcus is a PF he’s not a SF not at 273... KD camp is over and no word on Ray Smith visiting so questionable if that happened... It would be pretty interesting if he doesn't get the offers he thinks he will get..... do we take him back theoretically? To me it's pretty disrespectful. Wouldn't be upset to see the staff stop recruiting him after all the time they already spent

It pi$$es me off 2 but cant really get hurt feelings because a teenager changes his mind no matter how much smoke he blew up our arses.. Lol It’s his life, his decision, and he has to what he thinks is best for himself. If Noah was unsure about us better he part ways now than mid season or after his first year. Plenty of time to recruit other talented players tbh

Yeah, as far as Dickerson actually ending up at Georgetown, I say keep the channels of communication open, but certainly do not count on him for anything going forward. I think you have to go forward with the thought that he isn't coming, and if he changes his mind, so be it. You do get situations like Obekpa's, where he said he would transfer and decided to stay. The same could happen to Dickerson, though I think it's unlikely.
The whole idea that he decommitted because the frontcourt is crowded seems disingenuous given that all but Govan were committed before him anyway. But it's true that if the 2014 guys are not one-and-dones (even if that happened, I cannot imagine it would be more than one guy), those guys plus Derrickson and Govan still make our frontcourt extremely solid for 2015-2016, even if we're a little light at center. Of course, if we got Rabb that would take care of that problem.
As I said, if anything, Dickerson leaving should actually make it more desirable for Derrickson and Govan, since they will by default have more of an opportunity to play. I don't think it affects Rabb at all (aside from us wanting him even more) because he would play over any of these guys and likely be a one-and-done anyway.

Good for the Johnnies. As many have said, would be great for the Big East to have them become a consistent factor.

That’s a really good question and unfortunately I don’t have a good answer (Outside of Rabb of course). I know KW said the staff told him they would be watching him closely in July. Cheatham wants to commit in Sept so I’m sure they track him closely as well. Regarding the top top guys, we will know pretty quick how they feel about their chances with guys like Bacon Trier Dorsey etc by how much love they show them obviously

Yaboy is the staff still interested in Mitchell? Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 1h Donovan Mitchell has added offers from USF, Louisville, and Memphis. Kansas, UNLV, Villanova, and Georgetown could be next #Breakout14

Hope so on Donovan Mitchell. He and Copeland played together and are friends I believe.

Alex Kline @therecruitscoop 56m Georgetown has offered 2015 SG Levan Alston of Team Final (PA). #81 on ESPN ESPN Analyst Updated 07/15/2014
Strengths: Alston is a long and thin guard that attacks of the bounce and and can hit the open three off the catch with range to the arc when his feet are set. His ball handling makes him a play maker that can get to where he needs on the floor. Alston can also help at the point. He can hit rhythm shots from mid range to the arc. Alison has the length and athleticism to defend both guard positions as well.
Weaknesses: Alston will need to add strength and continue to develop all his skills which he is already off to a great start of doing.
Bottom Line: Alston is a play making guard that can score in a variety of ways. He has all the tools needed to be a high major recruit and be an immediate contributor with continued development. www.d1circuit.com/roster_players/4853281

Father played for Temple. Yeah for Cheney in the 90’s, there was more to it than that though. Something involving Rick/Jalen Brunson. I’ll ask around…. Does anybody know if “Pat Ewing” err I mean Rick Brunson is still going to be hired on by Temple after that umm incident

Updated recruiting targets per those posting here with more knowledge than me. Rankings are inherently subjective so I just used 24/7. I'd take any two guards below.
Guards/Wings Allonzo Trier - 6'4'' SG - #8 Tyler Dorsey - 6'4'' PG - #10 Dwayne Bacon - 6'6'' SG - #13 PJ Dozier - 6'5'' PG - #21 Donovan Mitchell - 6'3'' SG - #36 Haanif Cheatham - 6'5'' SG - #53 Bryant Crawford - 6'3'' PG - #102 Kenny Williams - 6'2'' SG - #102
Forward/Centers ✔Jessie Govan - 6'10'' C - #33 ✔Marcus Derrickson - 6'7'' SF/PF - #69 Ivan Rabb - 6'10'' PF - #5 Skal Labissiere - 6'10'' PF/C - #23 Noah Dickerson - 6'8'' PF - #44 Tacko Fall - 7'5'' C - #178
Anybody I am missing?
On Edit: Added Donovan Mitchell per hoyasincebirth
