What is "knocking down"? Most of them? Half of them? One third? Look he needs to get better at that but I don't ever want that to be his emphasis. I'd rather he'd develop a more reliable pullup jumper instead, a jumpshot off thebounce. Without quetion I want him to continue working on his ball-handling. But Dear God I don't want him becoming some jumphooter who gets most of his points off of long range bombs or backdoor cuts. I want him to retain his natural agression which includes driving to the basket. I know that's not how III's guards typically play but you know change isn't always bad. Totally agree. I can recall several instances where the offense stalled last season (precisely because we were settling for threes), and Jabril got things moving again with a good drive to the basket. Love his aggressiveness and I think you're right that if he develops a pull-up jumper he will be lethal. Let Greg hit the three-pointers.

Would it be worth an hour+ long drive to catch some Kenner League action?

if you have any sort of basketball acumen it's not. Soooo.... tgod - has basketball acumen kghoya - does not have basketball acumen no it's actually kchoya is right. Kenner is a poor indicator of everything basketball and it even magically makes skillets impossible to read or take note of.

I had Sims having a senior type breakout during his sophomore season based on Kenner League. It is what it is. Something to go and watch if you have no life. It's extremely difficult to make predictions based on what you have seen. Sign me up! if you have any sort of basketball acumen it's not. BURN!

...and then buy your girlfriend/mom some Georgetown Cupcakes afterward, so it's not like you drove an hour-plus into the city just to watch some kids play a glorified pickup game :-D
In all seriousness, it might help if you have other things to do when you're here. Hit the Tombs or get a Madness at Wisey's, stroll around campus a bit, go walk along the waterfront, head up to the Cathedral or Dumbarton Oaks or whatever else floats your boat. Make a day of it if it's hard to justify coming in.
(Seriously, a whole hour to get into DC? You must like be almost in Loudoun or something!).
