terpsrecruiting.blogspot.com/2013/05/terpsrecruiting-exclusive-bryant.htmlCrawford currently holds offers from Georgetown, Indiana, South Florida, Texas, Seton Hall, Penn State, UConn, Rutgers and Maryland, and admits "all schools are equal right now," adding that "Indiana and Georgetown have been on me the hardest so far. "[I'm] a pass-first point guard with nice vision and can knock down the three," he says, admitting he needs to work on his jump shot. " to get teammates involved and [I'm] a good leader."
And while several members of Team Takeover hold scholarship offers -- including big men Martin Geben and Marcus Derrickson and guards Tre Campbell, Franklin Howard and Dion Wiley -- Crawford says he hasn't discussed the possibility of the group playing together in college.
With two full years of high school left, he's not sure when he'll make his college decision yet.

USA Basketball @usabasketball 16h #USABMU16 finalists include: Thomas Bryant, Bryant Crawford, @hjellenson @the2kferguson Daniel Giddens, @thereal_HG3 Congrats! duke.247sports.com/Article/Harry-Giles-Malik-Newman-are-tops-at-USA-16U-trials-132913Bryant Crawford A 6-3 combo guard, Crawford went through drill work with the point guards and told 247Sports that is the position he wants to play in college. In the scrimmage portion, he had a solid showing playing the role of a power point guard. Primarily he made positive plays in pick and roll situations. Indiana and Georgetown are two of the schools that have recruited Crawford the hardest but now there is a new school that has joined those two. "Indiana and Georgetown were the first two and have been there since," said Crawford. "Now that Maryland has offered me they are recruiting me hard like them." Having already visited these three schools, Crawford plans on visiting Syracuse and UConn before school starts.

insider.espn.go.com/blog/dave-telep/#post-3630Point guard Bryant Crawford, a 2015 recruit, was on the cusp of playing his way onto Team USA’s rotation on the U16 team when an MRI revealed a slight meniscus tear. Instead of traveling to Uruguay, Crawford went home, where he’ll have the knee scoped and be out about four to six weeks. Crawford was USA’s most reliable half-court floor general and one of the best distributors in camp. The lone 2015 point guard at the tryout, Crawford's maturation was evident early.

As for schools recruiting him the hardest at the moment, Crawford said "I've been hearing a lot from Stanford, Indiana, Ohio State, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Georgetown and Penn State."

I understand the need to be early on this kid given his talent and the his competitive recruitment but, do we really have a chance with this kid?

WE have a good chance I think. He knows the program. He can't have any concerns about the offense, he plays in a similar one. I do think Indiana is the team to beat here but Yogi Ferrell will be there still, he'll be able to come in and start day 1 here.(here come the DSR will be a senior PG or Tre campbell will be here guys). He is an automatic starter or willl push someone out after a few games type like Otto, DaJuan or Austin.

Before biting, and just for the heck of it, who do you see as the 5 starters in December '15 in a perfect world (no injuries, no departures & GW available)?

Well I don't see any way GW is here in December of 15' unless he gets hurt again, same with Josh Smith. If I had to guess it would be DSR,Trawick,Peak, Copeland and some C(hopefully Elbert), If Crawford came i'd say Trawick would be the man to come in as the 6th man. like Ewing did.

I think it's a big assumption to assume that Whittington will leave for the NBA after the 2014-2015 season. I hope he does - it would mean he played great and we had a great season (possibly with March success) - but I think it's a pretty big leap.
Greg is talented and could certainly live up to NBA potential eventually, but keep in mind he'll begin the 2014-2015 season having not played a real college basketball game for almost 2 years. That works both ways - it means he will have had plenty of time to improve and mature, but it also means that he will have lost time as a result of the injuries.
At this point, I think that it's more likely than not that Greg will be playing as a 5th year senior, but I hope I'm wrong if it means he goes to the NBA early.

Bigger assumption to think Whittington will stay more than 4 years at Georgetown. He will get picked even if he has an okay year next year. I think its more likely that Greg will almost certainly not play as a 5th year senior more than it is.
