6’2 PG that plays for Gonzaga georgetown.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1375226&PT=4&PR=2 6'2" Class of 2015 point guard Bryant Crawford not only has garnered a Georgetown scholarship offer, but had been invited to Nike's prestigious Chris Paul camp. Both of these were received, despite not playing much for his Gonzaga High School (DC) freshman season, due to injury.

I sent Eric Bossi a tweet about this, but no Marcus Derrickson? Wow.

Looked like he broke his wrist tonight in the Gonzaga DC Classic. Bad luck there. He had been playing well early on for Gonzaga. Larry Brown was in the building to see him.

8 weeks for a full recovery if true.. Tough luck for the kid
Eric Bossi @ebosshoops Like the overall game of 4-star soph PG Bryant Crawford. Not flashy but solid in everything. Defends and runs his team. #DCclassic
Josh Stirn @nbaprospectblog SO Bryant Crawford has dished out quite a few nifty passes. He's got great size and length for a point guard already. Big time recruit
Michael Monroe @hoops_Reports SMU offered 2015 Paul VI (VA) duo Marcus Derrickson & Franklin Howard, as well as Bryant Crawford, 2015 PG of Gonzaga College (DC).

That first quote sounds like a quality player for us.

www.nationalrecruitingspotlight.com/2013/02/06/kris-jenkins-pours-in-28-points-as-gonzaga-pulls-away-from-oconnell/Good news & Bad news in this article.. The good..Sophomore guard Bryant Crawford scored 10 points but he was more impressive on the defensive end. He netted at least three or four steals and created havoc while O’Connell rotated the ball on the perimeter. He also bothered O’Connell’s bigs a couple of times and blocked a shot. Crawford moved well without the ball too and made a great pass into Jenkins in the first half. The Bad...On recruiting: “It’s been going okay. I haven’t heard from a lot of coaches during the season but I’m sure after the season I should be hearing from coaches [and] taking some visits. I’m definitely setting up Texas, UConn, Syracuse and Villanova. I was supposed to go before the season but I just didn’t get a chance [because] I was working on schoolwork and stuff.” Would have liked to have heard G'town mentioned too..

He is quite possible more than two years from making a commitment. Let's not get too worked up.

He is quite possible more than two years from making a commitment. Let's not get too worked up. True indeed.. However it doesn't appear to be a good sign when JT3 (who's a Gonzaga Alum) is there to watch the game and G'town doesn't get a mention..

Or, considering he's local, they asked him where he's planning on visiting and as a 15/16 year old, didn't mention the school down the street that he might know intimately already.

It’s not like he has to “set up” a Gtown visit. He’s local, he can come down whenever he wants, little to no planning necessary. He also did not mention Indiana whom he has talked about previously Fwiw…

Exactly. Why waste a free trip to a good school when you can easily stop by at almost any time to check out the local stops.
