7'-0" Doral Moore a 2015 kid who wasn't highly rated at the start of spring/summer aau season but he has now gotten a lot of attn with his play.. www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/blog/eye-on-college-basketball/22824039/summer-jam-notebook-doral-moore-emerges-plus-top-performershoopseen.com/index.php/news/headlines/item/466-doral-moore-enjoying-a-summer-surge2015 is loaded with bigs, absolutely loaded imo..[/quote] On the recruiting front, college coaches have taken notice on the progress Moore has made. Offers are in from Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Illinois, Maryland, Ohio State, Texas and more. Georgetown, Kansas, and Louisville have also been tracking the No. 38 player in 2015

Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised that we're listed in his top three. I hadn't heard anything linking us to him in so long, I thought this ship had sailed. Would absolutely love to have an athletic shotblocker like him. But then again....I look at his top three and one of these three is not like the others..... Does anyone know if we have a legit chance with him, or is this another foregone conclusion?? It seems to me that any kid that would like what Kentucky and Calipari offer, would not be interested in G'town. And a kid who would like JTIII and G'town wouldn't be interested in Kentucky and Cal. That's why it always seems so weird when we're in a final list with Kentucky.

Hearing those back problems are legit (obviously kid missed the whole season) and that’s caused some teams to back off. We’ll see I guess.

bissiere's ceiling has never been questioned. He has the tools to be a great player, but consistency is an issue.
And strength. Labissiere might be in college several years because of his fragile frame.
"There would be flashes of brilliance," Tippett said. "… If he walked out on the floor right now any college team would kill him. He's just too thin. He's very graceful but he's not strong enough. Whether it was Kentucky or Virginia they'd mop the floor with him; he's just not ready. It will be a year or two down the line before he's ready.
"He has to get bigger and stronger. He has a great skill set, great work ethic and he's a great kid, but he has to gain some weight."
Tippett said Labissiere should consider how coaches will play him in college when making his decision.
"He's a stretch four because he can really shoot it," Tippett said. "He's a pretty good passer and has pretty good hands, but he surely can't post anybody up. He's a face-up guy, he's not a back-to-the basket guy at all."
Along with the Cats, Tigers and Hoyas, Labissiere has an offer from Kansas. Tippett was told he will narrow his list at the end of the summer, while possibly making a decision.
"Skal told me that he was going to narrow it down regardless this summer," Tippett said. "He's going to narrow it down to three or four this summer. I don't know what those will be but that's what he told me. He's a junior and he needs to narrow it down."

Skal's guardian says he is serious about three schools: Kentucky, Memphis and Georgetown. Any word if we are on him? Have not heard much...

Really like the use of the left hand to block shots. Someone worked with him early to keep him from fouling a lot. Since he is in Memphis, and Kentucky and their present coach have the same contacts there, I see the progression as Kentucky first if Cauley-Stein and Johnson are both gone in 15, then Memphis or Georgetown. Memphis would have the edge with the local contacts, but Georgetown would offer the opportunity for him to be a Greg Monroe type player. He would be a facilitator and scorer at Georgetown, showcasing his face up shooting and passing ability. Also given the returning class of White, Copeland and Peak, he could be a star without the pressure.

D1 Circuit @d1circuit Apr 13 Skal Labissiere (@onebighaitian) has been cleared to return the court after a back fracture. "Almost there" says the 2015 center. #EYBLElite

insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncbrecruiting/on-the-trail/post?id=9858Best Center Skal Labissiere 6-11, 215, 2015, C Skal was injured and barely played this season. This was his first action in months and he flashed all the skills that have some thinking he is the No. 1 center in the class. He is a very good shot-blocker with his length and athletic ability. The Haiti native has solid hands and feet and can score on the block. Labissiere showed an excellent touch and improvement when he hit a fadeaway baseline 17 footer. It’s safe to say LaBissiere is back. He's very similar to Comanche in style of play..
