1500 seems loaded. Emily, Katie Flood, Jordan Hasay, Lucy Van Dalen and 2 time 800 runnerup Natalja Piliusina.
Too bad that Amanda can't run in her best event the 200. Her 23.16 would have seeded her 9th but the 200 is only a couple races before the 4x400.

Mostly good results from Jacksonville today in qualifying heats. The only "final" that determines those runners, who go onto Drake for the NCAA finals were the 10000m runs and we got two of our three runners in the top 12, so Mark Dennin and Alex Lundy are going to Drake. Mark ran 30:09.74, a great run for 3rd place, while Alex ran 30:18.89 for 9th. TC Lumbar ran 31:03.24 for 24th place.
Both of our 400H runners made it through to the next round. Toby Ulm finished 3rd in his heat in 51.54 to automatically qualify for the quarters. London Finley ran 57.88 to win her heat (5th fastest overall) to automatically go into the next round.
Chelsea Cox ran 2:07.73 to take 2nd in her heat to auto qualify.
In the women's 1500m we got four of our five entries through to the next round. Emily Infeld was 2nd in her heat in a slow 4:28.72, which is good, because she should have lots left for the next round. Rachel Schneider, on the other hand, had to run fairly fast, but she also finished 2nd in her heat in 4:21.54. Also in Rachel's heat was Katrina Coogan, who finished 6th (top five move on), but she was fast enough in 4:23.19 to move on according to her time. Also, advancing on time was Lauren Borduin, 6th in her heat, but with a 4:24.75, enough for the time qualifier. Hannah Neczypor finished 12th in her heat in 4:39.15 and did not qualify.
Also, not qualifying was Amanda Kimber, who ran 54.18 for the 400, but she missed being a time qualifier by 0.1 s.
Good job all!

Chelsea Cox and London Finley both qualified for Drake and are going to the NCAA finals. Chelsea finished 5th in her heat (three auto qualify), but her 2:06.12 time was good enough to go on a time qualifier. London was 2nd in her heat in 57.16 to qualify automatically. London was 5th overall.
Toby Ulm was the first man out. He finished 5th in his heat in 50.89, but missed being one of the three time qualifiers by 0.06 s. If he were in the first heat, his time would have been in the top three.

Both Toby and Chelsea were both 10th overall, but Chelsea moves on, but Toby doesn't.

Here we go again, as it is the Hoyas vs Florida State in the heat 2 of the 1500m. The top 5 from each heat plus the fastest two times (not in the top 5) move on to Drake. Heat two has three Hoyas and three from FSU.

Missed Kevin: Kevin qualified for the quarterfinals with his 46.99 time. In the men's 400-meter dash quarterfinals, Kevin Wilson (Virginia Beach, Va./Landstown/George Mason) ran 47.33 to take ninth place in his heat.

In the men's 5000m Andrew Springer was our highest finisher in the first heat in 6th place with a time of 14:18.85. Unfortunately, he did not get the auto qualifier and is on the bubble. He was beaten out for the last auto spot by Georgetown grad Sandy Roberts, running as a grad student for NC State.

The 2nd heat was much faster than the first, so Andrew does not move onto Drake.

Alex Lundy was 24th in the 2nd heat in 15:13.61. Obviously, Mark Dennin and Alex Lundy were running the 5000m as a workout, having punched their tickets to Drake in the 10000. They are the only Georgetown men runners going to Drake.

Madeline Chambers runs a great race coming in 3rd to advance to the NCAA meet. Stevens and Maag do not advance. Emily Jones did not run well--she has run poorly since XC, I wonder if she is hurt.
