I just think Porter and Whittington are going to blow up next year, and you'd have to watch the Hoyas too much - and pay too much attention to the stat-suppressing offensive system the team runs - to figure this out - which nobody in the national press has time for. Otto didn't even make the Big East all rookie team - the guy led the Hoyas in rebounding - it's not clear anyone is paying attention - and for Whittington you'd have know how fast he developed late in high school, then you'd have to see through his 4.3 points a game to realize in the last 10-15 games of the season he had grown into a whole new player - the guy who didn't score against NJIT or Howard put up 15 against ND and 11 against Pitt. Those two guys should anchor a very competitive team next year that should make a run at the tourney and up the polls. Enough people did notice Otto to get him on the Freshman All-American team

His not making the all Big East rookie team was very, very strange.

On that we agree. I honestly thought he was a lock.

I agree the improvement by Greg last year offensively was fantastic.....but maybe not too noticeable unless, as you said, you watched the team a LOT. By the end of the season, I was more confident in his 3's than pretty much anyone else, including Hollis for at least a stretch.
