Playing up with the Takeover under 17’s for EYBL /photo/1 It's very important that the staff lands either Booth, Wiley or Campbell in '14.. Then use them to help recruit Marcus

· Marcus Derrickson, Team Takeover: Derrickson, a 6-6 forward from Paul VI Catholic in Fairfax, Virginia, is one of IU’s primary 2015 targets and took an unofficial visit with his high school coach, Glenn Farello, for the regular season home finale against Ohio State. In Los Angeles, Derrickson played just 13.8 minutes per game, but averaged 5.5 points and 4.0 rebounds. In late March, Derrickson told The Washington Post that he’s taking time with his recruitment, which already includes offers from more than 16 schools. oneclicksportsnow.com/recruiting-roundup-nike-eybl-los-angeles/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

Paul VI sophomore forward Marcus Derrickson (Team Takeover): At 6-foot-6, 210 pounds, some call Derrickson a tweener, but the area’s top sophomore negates that with his inside-outside ability. Along with an ability to knock down the three, Derrickson is a solid rebounder whose evolving post skills are evident. Whatever size Derrickson ends up being going into college, his savvy and hard work will have him prepared to excel. Derrickson is one of several Paul VI players to watch out for along with sophomore guard Franklin Howard, who just got an offer from Virginia, junior forward Quadree Smith (offers from George Mason, St. Joseph’s and Drexel at the Hampton EYBL), sophomore point guard Kevin Dorsey and sophomore guard Josh Reaves. www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/recruiting-insider/wp/2013/05/06/oconnells-melo-trimble-potomacs-dion-wiley-lead-class-of-2014-basketball-prospects/?wpmk=MK0000203

He hasn't been playing well so far at Peach Jam. Anybody know what the deal is?

If we get Dickerson is Derrickson still a need. Could have 6 schollies though.

Better question is who is #2 on that list?

I mean that's a list of who came to see PVI as a whole not necessarily to see Derickson specifically

Josh Stirn @josh_Stirn 7 Oct 2015 F Marcus Derrickson is trending back up. His knee is healthy now and he's lost 25 pounds while appearing to grow an inch or two. Stud.
