I actually had to work today so I missed SU winning on striped backs - not news in any way given the gifts they've received this year. WVU looks truly awful and is throwing away a true home crowd. Can't say it bothers me except that I was stupid enough to pick them to win (only) this game. I picked them too Dan. Not sure why looking back at it, thought Jones would return to form. Oh well.

WVU made a great argument for capping the number of bids given to one conference. Looked like they threw in the towel after about seven minutes.
UConn down 20? After less than 12 minutes?

Uconn is SOOOOO lazy. Drumond has no business in the NBA right now. Just incredible. Uconn is going to get blasted just like WVU

UCONN cut the once 22 pt lead to 6 and they have the ball. Could get interesting...

That's a stupid argument. Should the PAC 12 have been capped at one? Yes ;D Colorado up 11 on UNLV right now, though. If that keeps going that way it will kill a lotta brackets. Every thing that could possibly go right for Iowa State is going right, but part of that has to be credited to the Cyclones for giving 100%, acting like they want to be there, etc. Lamb is hocking up 3's from five feet out of the arc early in the shot clock, not getting easy defensive rebounds, etc.

Karma is really catching up to UConn and WVU today. Cuse narrowly escaped but they'll get theirs

I mean, as much as I'd like to blame karma....all 3 teams gave completely lackluster performances and thats all on them. They all deserved to lose and its very unfortunate one managed to win

Wow. As ISU was running outthe clock up 13, 3 UCONN players swarm the ball handler, steal the ball, and Lamb attempts a windmill dunk at the buzzer. Which he misses. One of the most classless moves I have ever seen.

I actually wanted UConn to win in order to see a Davis Vs Drummond matchup. Of course I should have never counted on the Huskies to actually put it together. And that matchup will have to wait for the NBA.

Saw this posted elsewhere, I may have missed it here: Of the 11 previous No. 1 seeds to beat a 16-seed by single digits in the round of 64, four lost their next game.

That's a stupid argument. Should the PAC 12 have been capped at one? Judging from Cal's performance, the PAC 12 should have been capped at zero. And I was kidding. When I see how Conn/WVU played yesterday (and other mail jobs I've seen over the past few years), I sometimes wonder if making the NCAA tournament just isn't that big a deal anymore for players in the bigger conferences.
