The Syracuse fans were insufferable at MSG yesterday. At one point, one came to the Gtown student section and started air humping a girl (who was turned the other way) just so his friend could take a picture.
Another one came and took a picture with his middle finger up. And then came back later when the ESPN cameras were on the student section.
Sad excuses for human beings.

I for one can not wait until they leave the Big East. The pleasure derived in beating them only barely outweighs the revulsion of being around their apologist fans. Just imagine that Syracuse, Duke and Maryland will all live together now. Now that's just unfair to Duke.

But at least they're a peer institution. The other two are populated by people who would have to bathe to be slobs.

Today's Garden Marquee: 12:00 Noon "Scholastic Slugs vs. Kids on Drugs" I dream of a world where this thread reaches Latavious proportions, with a nice slow trickle of news and adjudicatory proceedings provides nail after nail after nail for the Cuse coffin, and they wonder in two years "how are we going to beat Wake Forest?" BUMP. And I would like to pat myself on the back. ;D

Can we make a Cuse violation/legal troubles thread compilation...that would be enjoyable. ;D

You'd run into serious storage issues there, I would think.

So is he as stupid as we all know or did they decide to enforce a failed drug test? Does Boeheim know?

From the CBS Sports / Yahoo article:
"The NCAA went back and looked at his schoolwork," one source told CBSSports.com. "They are looking into the fact that he didn't do some of the work."

Corrected.
Remember this is Syracuse we're writing about.

But I'm still enjoying the fall. That's a quality purchase, ACC. An irrelevant, failing football program and an utterly corrupt basketball program. There should be some excellent lacrosse games though. EDIT: On the plus side, their basketball team just got both exponentially better looking and less woman-beating (I think).

We could also start a Cuse sanctions thread. That one would cause zero storage issues.

Gotta love the comment section: "Forde has had a hard on for SU since he was REJECTED by Newhouse back in the 80's and settled for going to school at Missouri." Yeah, 'cause the j-school at Mizzou really sucks.

Why isn't anyone in the media talking about Melo and the drug test mishandling (let alone Fine)? I know most of the sports media went there and all, but it's kinda ridiculous. In fact, if they make it to the Final Four, you know the media is going to lift the team and Boeheim up as heroes and applaud them for rising above the "distractions" of the season. Can't someone in the media stand up and do some fricken reporting for a change?

My exact thoughts McBricks. Dana O'Neil wrote this garbage yesterday: espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/tournament/2012/story/_/id/7720387/syracuse-orange-coach-jim-boeheim-leads-tumultuous-successful-season-ncaa-tournamentHow do you write an entire article praising Boeheim's ability to weather crises and not question the program he runs? I quote, "It is clichéd to say that players are extensions of their leaders. Clichés, though, are borne out of truths and these players have followed Boeheim's lead." Does this extend to Fab Melo being twice ruled academically ineligible? Eric Devendorf assaulting a female student? Johnny Flynn, Rick Jackson, and Scoop Jardine being accused of multiple sexual assaults? Does he get credit for that too? It's not like someone was diagnosed with cancer or a tornado hit town. His recruits created these problms and he doesn't care. Terrible people. Awful journalism.

I just ripped Dana O'Neil for that junk she wrote about Magoo. Syracuse crying about difficult times is like the Menendez brothers crying about being orphans...
