Louisville at 4? UConn at 2 with the 'Cuse at 4 when Syracuse just pounded them last night? Iowa was questionable IMO, but as long as ND and Maryland aren't in, Im ok with it.

Dookie V thinks ND should be in along with Miami OH from the MAC ("robbery"). According to him, UAB should be out...among others (hard to hear because he was shouting rapidly - imagine that?).

Somebody took a shot at him on Gameday today when he said somebody was leaving something out about Duke - whoever it was told him he had two hours coming up to talk about how great Duke was. The other night somebody hit Digger similarly either on the radio or TV and said something about if Notre Dame got in we could see if they could actually win a game away from South Bend.

No. Iowa was the 2nd he thought should be out. Probably because they are not coached by Quin Snyder or some other K-Boy.

Nice tie digger. I mean c'mon. PS it looks like they put on a lot of extra make-up tonight to cover up Digger's disappointment.

Wonder why the Washington Post does not mention that Georgetown is another bubble team that was not invited. After all, we ARE in Washington, as if the Post ever remembers that.

georgia tech a #5 is a joke. they should be a #7 at the highest. louisville a #4 is ridiculous. syracuse a #4 will give their fans something to complain about until they play friday.
it's funny that the only person on espn that talks without bias towards duke is jay bilas. it's a riot to see fowler take shots a pukie v about his duke loving.

It was Chris Fowler...Vitale and Patrick answered this criticism during the GTech/Duke telecast. "Duke is going for 6 of 7 here, baby, what do you expect?" Patrick chimed in something about Duke being the example that all college athletics problems should try to follow. They tried to circle Fowler in the crowd before the camera panned away to Coach K. I found their commentary today more nauseating than usual..."Shavlik Randolph is one of the best guys at drawing charges in the country!" was exclaimed after he clearly flopped to give Jarret Jack his 4th. Though I will give them credit for saying that that foul on Jack where Redick pushed off down the stretch was ridiculous. I was shocked, to be honest Somebody took a shot at him on Gameday today when he said somebody was leaving something out about Duke - whoever it was told him he had two hours coming up to talk about how great Duke was. The other night somebody hit Digger similarly either on the radio or TV and said something about if Notre Dame got in we could see if they could actually win a game away from South Bend.

I didn't even know Bilas had any connections to Duke until my girlfriend (a recovering Duke fan - she just doesn't know it yet) told me.

Tech grades out as about a six seed based on how the committee scores. But because of matchups rules (who they are allowed to pay in the Sweet Sixteen) they were probably upgraded a bit. At least that seems to be the prevailing thought.
Is Georgia Tech a Top 20 team? A Top 24 team? Doubt it, but that's that.

the funniest part of the game was when patrick and vitale gushed for five minutes about how good a move shavlik randolph made after he missed a dunk. the guy blows a dunk and they are going crazy over it. they have lost any bit of credibilty they had left.

Did you even SEE that play?
Everyone in the f'ing arena was giving him props for that. The roof would've blown off if that dunk had gone down. Even though he missed it people were still going "Holy S, how'd he do that!?"
Good freaking gawd you people are more biased than Digger and Vitale.

The other night somebody hit Digger similarly either on the radio or TV and said something about if Notre Dame got in we could see if they could actually win a game away from South Bend. That was Lunardi. He gave his picks and had Buffalo in and Notre Dame out. Then Digger said (something like "Are you telling me that if Notre Dame played Buffalo on a neutral court that Notre Dame wouldn't win that game?" and Lunardi responded (something like) "Well, I'd like to see Notre Dame try to beat anyone outside of South Bend."
